Ended up buying 2 of these, one for me and the other for family that wanna ride with me. I've kept in mind other reviews and have never ridden it in the rain or over rocky or wet ground. I've been riding for fun since June and it still feels great, with no rust, and no loose parts. To customize it a bit I ordered Schwinn bike lights and reflective tape from Walmart and added a zip-tied pinwheel and streamers from dollar tree! (very fun in the wind from speed, adults can enjoy streamers too!) Very fun and very easy to figure out how to balance, especially thanks to the big wheels and low-to-the-ground deck. For reference, I'm in my 20s, I'm 5'7", and weigh 155 lbs. My family who rides the other scooter are over 200 lbs and in their 30s 40s 50s

Growing up, I missed the phase of razor scooters. Now I have a daughter and wanted something she could grow into and I could ride around with her, zipping around the neighborhood sidewalks. This has MUCH nicer, larger wheels that allow you to roll over cracks and bumps much better than the anemic wheels on original razor scooters. This thing is perfect.

My grandson recently took up skateboarding, and loves it. Then he saw another child at the skate park with an over-sized wheel scooter, and he just had to have one. Well that pretty much says it all except for... He loves that scooter!
My husband got me this scooter for my birthday. I loved it so much I got him one a few months later. Now we go out with our boys and we all ride our scooters. It’s so much fun for us and them. I highly recommend it! Especially if you’re thinking of ways for family time and exercise. I’ll tell you I feel good after running around the neighborhood for a while.
Great scooter for children and adults. It is well-made and very smooth when riding it. We can't be happier with this model.
I've owned this scooter for 6 months riding 20 miles per week as part of my commute. I've loved everything about it until today.Today I used it in the rain for the first time. Now, because of road grit in the folding mechanism, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to fold.I can no longer use it to hop on and off trains. I can't fold it on my way into the office.I'm replacing it with an A5 Lux (red). I've used them for years in all weather and never had this problem. I'm confident it's because the A5 DLX has a more complex folding mechanism that auto-locks. The Lux is simpler, and apparently, tougher.
I bought this thinking it would not rattle but it does and a lot. Maybe not the handle bars but the back brake is terribly noisy, and the folding mechanism makes you have to turn the black plastic knob (others have metal) so I’m assuming that’s going to brake in a few months. Abec 5 bearings only means a slow ride. It looks good, though.
I owned this for about 2 months. Have no issues. The locking mechanism is very strong and good. Does not rattle or wobble. I prefer this over a5 lux. The a5 lux has a poor quality on the locking mechanism and the steering came loose after 1 1/2 months of use. I dont understand why this model does not get enough reviews. So what if it is 3 dollars more over the lux. This dlx model is the best so far. I would recommend this for all ages and for everyone!!!!
the A5 is very light weight and has great wheel bearings for a smooth roll. excellant for any age group, I am 71 yrs and 200lbs. the large 8" wheels work on rough black top ok.
