He had the time of his little life on this cart. It is low to the ground so no fear of actually getting hurt if he spins off of it (which he did a time or two). The flag does not stay in the cart. You will have to glue it in or add some type of tape around the end of it to keep it in the hole on the cart. We eventually just removed it altogether. This cart was ridden on a smooth road as well as a bumpy country unpaved road. The cart takes a beating but keeps going. No assembly required!! Just charge the battery and go! This is a great ride-on for kids as young as 4-5.

Though the power cord was green, the cart would not go when turned on. Upon telling the Razor rep the number on the power cord, she said that this was manufactured in 2021 and it’s been probably sitting in the warehouse since then. We ordered this because neighbors have it and it’s a hit with the kids. I initially called them to see if they had any issues with charging at first. My neighbor recalled a review online that said this same issue happened to someone else, but an hour after charging when they checked on it, they smelled something burning. Turns out, the old battery in the seat was burning. My neighbors told me to unplug it immediately. Luckily, I had someone warn me about this. Hopefully this review helps someone else who may have the same issue. I would suggest if buying this from Walmart, to call the Razor number that comes in the package and have them check the manufacture date. If it’s been sitting, they’ll replace the battery for free.

The poles aren't well secured to stay in the cart and kept falling off. They just attach by pushing the pole down into a shallow hole. Also, these things only run for 40 minutes ad then have to be charged for a full 12 HOURS to run again. For the money we spent on these, I am finding it hard to like them and despite how much my kids like the 2 that actually worked. Pass on this toy until the Razor company makes some changes.

Front tire wears out too quick. What do I do?
11 February 2023

It was a great go card for our son..... for just a few months. It seems that the main front under wheel easily gets ground down and broken. This limits the use of each $300.00 crazy cart to 2 months. Not worth what Santa freaking paid for it. Does the warranty still cover this? Can we fix it? It would still work great if not for this tire failure. What are my options?

This is super fun but does take some getting used to. My 6 year old had a tendency of putting his feet out when the cart started to spin or drift. My only concern with him doing that was a leg injury. The cart itself is stable and is meant to drift and sway. It would be best to use if you have a large driveway or another area other than a standard sidewalk that’s free from traffic. Additionally we’ve found the battery lasts longer than what it says.

Issues with charging. Never able to charge it.
16 March 2023

Very cool toy, but the battery never charged! I was early in purchasing my christmas gifts last year and bought this in October. It sat hidden until Christmas morning, and once opened, there was snow on the ground so my kid only used it for about 2 min in the house. It snowed until about March when my son finally got a chance to ride it. He had a total ball, but when it came time to charge it, it never charged! I'm not sure why. I've tried different sockets, charged it over night ~12 hours multiple times, but no luck. Very frustrated that this toy only got one use. It's a super fun concept and my 6 year old absolutely loved it, for the 30 minutes he rode it.

My Favorite Kids Product Ever!
21 January 2020

The Razor Crazy Cart is an absolutely amazing product! I have two children who typically play with a new "toy" of any type for maybe one day, two at the max. This Crazy Cart carried us all the way through the Christmas school break and is still going strong in terms of popularity! My eight-year-old picked up how to use the cart almost immediately, and it didn't take much longer for the six-year-old to learn. It was a little hard for them to steer at first; the sound of scraping wheels was prevalent, but they were pros by the end of day one. I have been very pleased with the quality of the cart. Even with almost daily use, the wheels and other parts are holding up well. My only complaint (and it turns out to be a minor one) involves the design of the seat. Even with almost daily use, the wheels and other parts are holding up well. My only complaint (and it turns out to be a minor one) involves the design of the seat. The upper part of it was making my older child's back hurt right where the top of the seat made contact with his body. Adjusting his position while riding seems to have alleviated the problem, but it was definitely worrisome in the beginning. One of my big concerns before receiving the cart was the potential for tipping over. I thought if it really was as crazy as it sounded, I wanted both kids outfitted in helmets and padding! While I still make them wear helmets just in case, the cart has never tipped, and I don't think it ever will as long as it is used correctly. Overall, this has been a fantastic product for us. To anyone who is on the fence: I highly recommend the Razor Crazy Cart! Just buy it!!!

My son loves it

This crazy cart is actually really fun and pretty fast. I gave it to my 4.5 year old for Christmas (knowing it does recommend 6 ). He is actually really good at driving it and hasn't had any trouble. It's not really made to drive straight, you use the pedal to move forward and as soon as you take your foot off you turn the wheel and "drift". Hard to explain, but it's apparently super fun. I was a little disappointed at first, but my kids have loved it.

The best gift I ever bought my grandkids
2 September 2022

I was going to just buy one of these for my 7 year old grandson and get something else for the 4 year old. Well, after consulting with my daughter I decided to get two of them and use the lower power for the 4 year old. After about a month, the switch was turned up for the little guy! These two boys absolutely LOVE these scooters. They both are very aggressive on them and got rid of the flags in about a week! I can’t believe how they both ride these scooters full speed and do 360 turns all the time. I actually had to replace one of the back wheels on the 7 year olds scooter because they are played with so much! You can’t go wrong with this scooter, best gift ever! Thanks Razor!

Seeing how low the rider is to the ground, I would imagine that it is not unlike a Porsche or similar car in its feel insofar as it is fun but also prone to serious feedback. The fact that the steering wheel is so sensitive to turning is the most fun element about the cart. The steering wheel is attached to a center larger wheel that essentially "unlocks" the outer wheels. It's basically just turning the thing into a run-away go cart. Looks very fun and it's hilarious to watch from the sidelines as your rider careens down the sidewalk. As long as no cars of anything else dangerous is around, I would feel very confident in the safety of the cart. It has a low center of gravity and doesn't go very fast, so it would be hard to crash or roll the cart unless you were very purposeful in doing so. This thing attracts attention from other kids and adults alike being the only crazy cart in our neighborhood ...so far. It appears to be well made and built to last. You will want to supervise the "initial launch" of the cart but after some confidence- building up time, you will feel fine letting your rider do their thing. It charges back up in a couple of hours and it is ready to go for at least another 30-40 minutes of ride time. For sure do not stand next to it or near the cart when someone is riding it, as one errant spin can take you out at the ankles which is not a pleasant experience! Overall, this thing is the envy of every boy in the neighborhood, so it's pretty cool and obviously a lot fun for the target audience. It is a toy, but at least it gets the kids outside, which is better to say for a lot of the toys out there that confine them to a screen. A great addition to the lineup and very solid so far after a month of rigorously fun testing.
