A nice scooter overall, still working after 1 year

This scooter is fun and reliable, I've had it for well over a year and it still works great! I haven't had any issues with it. Although it is pretty slow on steeper uphill roads. Just make sure you are charging it properly to keep the battery in good shape, and keeping it indoors.

Bought this scooter in March and by the beginning of May, it stopped working. My less than 100 lbs son drove this in our neighborhood (mostly flat roads), no hard riding or extensive use… and it just quit working. We’ve spent over a month waiting on this part or that part, that Razor swears will fix it and STILL NOT WORKING!! Almost $400 for a scooter that ran for a month and has spent the remaining time sitting on a workbench awaiting the next dead-end fix to arrive in the mail. While I appreciate them attempting to repair it, at this point, it’s Insulting that they even attempt to try something else. Meanwhile, summer is quickly passing my 7 year old by and all his friends are riding their scooters but not mine. FURIOUS!

Great ride but quit working

My son has used this scooter for 1 year, with the occasional small town, pavement use. I don't know how often batteries in these have to be replaced but I would think for a $500 product we would get more use out of it than what we have. It's always been stored inside our garage. Outside of the non-working scooter that sits in my garage now, it was wonderful when it was working. Great speed, handles nicely, and sturdy.

Great scooter for a good price

Scooter is exactly as described. Very easy to assemble. We have writers in our house from 14 years old to 73 years old and the scooter works for all of them. Youngest rider is my 14-year-old grandson and he says the thing has plenty of power and it’s very smoothQuality built, but I would recommend

Great scooter for a kid. Great price at Target.

This is a great toy for any kid who is able to hold his/her balance on a bicycle. It is solidly constructed and the bigger pneumatic tires are 100% worth the extra dollars. This scooter is great to ride on pavement, grass, dirt, wooden decks and even over some muddy areas at the park. The speed is great and right about perfect to thrill a kid while keeping him safe and under control. Battery does last about the 40 minutes described under normal use, meaning not full throttle all the time, but on and off throttle to stay under control. The deck is wide enough to allow younger kids to plant both feet safely right away. Very easy assembly, just put handlebar in bracket at front and tighten with supplied Allen wrench. Keep wrench stored safely so you can use it to take ... MoreThis is a great toy for any kid who is able to hold his/her balance on a bicycle. One thing for you to know; it may be a little heavy for a younger kid to carry in and out of car or up/down the stairs. The two 12 volt batteries are a little heavy. Somebody can help, definitely not a show stopper for us. My son loved it the minute he saw it and then got on it for the first time. Great purchase.

Great scooter for the price!

The scooter came in a very large box, and the complaints I have about its packaging are: The box was actually broken where the handlebar of the scooter was, so the scooter handle bar did receive like *minimal* damage to it in transport. The scooter wasn't actually pre packaged in anything that would prevent it from getting banged up (no bubble wrap) just some brown paper that didn't do anything to protect it, even from itself (loose pieces) inside the box. The scooter actually came with dirt on it from previous use. It also has some wear and tear that was not shown in pictures. My son ordered this and believed it was a brand new scooter, not previously used so that was a bit of a shock for him. As far as functional use of the scooter, it's a great scooter. He rides it every day and takes it everywhere it's hour long charged will let him. The battery does die fairly quickly for an electric scooter and we are already looking up ways to enhance its performance for a battery life standpoint. He loves it. Has zero regrets for the price he paid for it and the rating is given a 4 star due to its packaging and cleanliness of the scooter.

Heavy duty

First of all I love Razor products as I’ve bought many for my kids through the years. This E300 HD is really sturdy feeling and can really hold an adult. I weigh 170 and have been using it to drive around the neighborhood or to run short errands nearby. This thing was easy to assemble from the box and the battery has held up very well so far and holds a charge. I didn’t get the full 40 mins but rode it die a half hour up and down some hills in the hood and it was doing great and lasted longer than I thought with my weight. It goes pretty fast for a scooter but I didn’t clock myself. Overall it’s very good, comfy, sturdy and can do some off-road terrain too. Very highly recommended.

Pretty Good

This is my second time buying a E300 however I did buy mine used. I had purchased a used E325 and it didn’t go more than 2 miles on a full charge on the stock 7 ah batteries. So I upgraded it with 9 ah batteries and was able to get about 28 minutes out of it so the 9 ah upgraded did help boost the battery life of the E325 I have. So this E300 that I bought lasts longer than the E325 did when it had the stock batteries. It lasts about 19 minutes on a full charge. I’m going to replace the batteries on it with some 9 ah batteries do get a longer run time out of it. What I have noticed is if you purchased a used E300 it probably won’t last the full 40 minutes compared to buying a new one. But even if you buy one used it still runs just as good as buying one new. I definitely recommend the E300 because it is just a pretty good scooter and it is fun to ride.

Razor E300 in today's market
27 January 2022

I purchased this particular Razor e300 knowing that it would need an update. This scooter although old and heavy has a large deck and it very stable on its 10" pneumatic tyres. I have changed the batteries for Lithium. Added lights, bell, an adjustable throttle and rear spray guard. New grip tape to refresh the deck. Sealed off the battery and controller box to waterproof it. I also used plastic from an old 5 litre container to protect the motor from water spray. Just need to address its security! Cheap reliable transport for short trips to save using the car. Why can't the government see this???????

missing parts, but new product
23 December 2022

bought this scooter for my son fort Christmas. When it arrived, it appeared to not be a new scooter and possibly a return. it was also missing the valve extender to fill the rear tire with air and so he could not use it. total disappointment of a Christmas present for an 10 year old. first world problem, but it totally sucks for a kid (in the first world) receiving a Christmas present and having to look at it, but and to use it
