The Real Techniques Artist Essentials Brush Set is flawless! 👀💖 The quality of these brushes is excellent. They are not only gorgeous but very affordable. I grab these more than my other brushes in my collection. I was very impressed with this set worth the money. I love that the brushes look pretty on display. This five-piece set is everything you need for a bomb look. These brushes are so soft and fluffy. I love the way they apply my makeup. This brush set is a must-have for your collection. My favorite brush in the collection is the contour brush. I use these brushes every time I get ready. The best part about these brushes is that they don’t shed.

This is the second perfect brush set to start playing with make up or in my case to renew your old set. All of them look awesome in their quality!!! The texture is Super soft. It has a beautiful color and I love that every one of the brushes have their number and specification, in case you have more you can see if they're the same or not. The brushes have a perfect size. And the sponge is one of the best I've tried so far and as a professional Makeup Artist I know what I'm talking about. I use them every day and my clients love them. Great Set For Face

I used the rounded foundation brush to apply my foundation. This brush made buffing the foundation onto my skin easy. The bristles are soft and the rounded edges gets product into hard to reach ares such as the contour of your nose. I also used the fan highlighter brush to apply powder highlighter. You do not need to press hard to pick up product. Just a tap and the fan brush pick up enough highlighter for your skin. Again, soft bristles effortlessly applies shimmer where you put it. Lastly, I tried the lip smudger. I am not sure how to use this so I may need to try again. Great value with five brushes. Overall, this set is great as an essential needs set. I am impressed with this set!

High quality brushes

Real Techniques makes the best affordable makeup brushes. Some of my most used brushes are from Real Techniques and they are still performing well after 5 years. These brushes are really great quality with soft, easy to clean bristles. The 217 brush is my favorite for applying cream or stick foundation. It has tapered sides that are really helpful for getting into areas like the sides of the nose for smooth, even application. I love the angled shape of the 421 soft accent brush. It blends cream blush and bronzer so quickly and seamlessly. I'm not usually a fan brush user but this one finally makes me understand why people recommend this shape for powder highlighter. I can’t even count how many brushes I own, yet I love and need every amazing brush in this 5 piece set! I have used these brushes every day since I got them, and they have made my routine so much easier and more enjoyable! The brushes have lightweight-yet-sturdy aluminum handles (clearly labeled in case of confusion about intended use). The bristles are soft and densely-packed, and I love that the bristles are synthetic and 100% cruelty-free. The brushes wash well and don’t shed bristles at all. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but the Expert Edge Large #217 has really upped my blending game. I use it with CC cream around my eyes and nose, and it’s so effective at smoothing coverage without wasting product. The Soft Accent #421 is also great for precise blending. I'm mostly loving these brushes!

I am overall quite pleased with the Artist Essentials Brush Set. The Expert Edge Foundation Brush has become a new favorite for buffing and blending both my tinted SPF and my concealer, and the Soft Accent brush is excellent for both concealer and application of highlighter (powder, liquid, or cream). I do wish, however, that the Spotlight Fan brush was denser, as I find it to be too thin and floppy to do anything besides brush away loose powder - I'll never use this. I'd love to see a redone version of this set with a larger version of the Soft Accent brush, as a larger version would be phenomenal for contour or blush application. The Lip Smudge brush does its job well (although I'm not a fan of the blurred lip look and find myself using this brush for my eyes ... MoreI am overall quite pleased with the Artist Essentials Brush Set. The Lip Smudge brush does its job well (although I'm not a fan of the blurred lip look and find myself using this brush for my eyes instead), and the Smudge Liner brush is nowhere near as thin as advertised, but works pretty well at creating a smudged liner look and also for using concealer under the brows to "clean" them up (although I found that after washing the brush, the bristles splayed a bit, and now it's uneven - but maybe that's my fault, or my brush was defective). Still, though, this kit is worth it for the first two brushes described, and I do appreciate the versatility of the Lip Smudge brush for both eyes and lips!

Interesting additions to my collection!

Found it too small for all-over blending, and I don't use cream color products, but it was helpful to blend out concealer, if a little large. Don't know if I'll reach for it over other brushes, though, to be honest. RT317, Smudge Liner: I'm so glad RT added this to their brush line! Great little flat liner brush, perfect for blending a dark shadow along the lash line for either a smoky effect or gentle definition. RT420, Spotlight Fan: Found that this picked up more product than I was expecting, so I found it a bit fiddly to work with, but once I got the hang of it, a great brush! We all need this set

My old foundation brush was shedding so I got this set and am really happy. The bristles are soft and hold pigment welll. The foundation brush is just the right size and is easy to control and apply just the right amount of foundation and swirl it on your skin. The countour brush (at least that is what I use it for) is also easy to control and the bristles are super soft, I use it to apply bronzer, it is just the right size and shape/The brush I am the biggest fan of is the fan for applying powder blush. It has nice, full soft bristles and allows me to sweep blush onto my cheeki an even, diffused manner. The angle brush is great for applying brow color or a soft eyeliner look with powder shadow.
