This isn’t a dense brush. It leaves any foundation whether it’s liquid, cream, stick or whatever. It’s a powder brush at best. I honestly don’t understand the hype around this brush. They do another foundation brush called the ‘foundation blender’ no 213. It’s about twice the price of this brush but it’s what this brush should be. It’s super dense and leaves you streak-free. That brush also comes in large for face and body. These brushes dont have long handles they are like kabuki style in the sense they have stumps as handles. What’s sad is I bought a set which contained the mini version of this Expert face brush and it was awful so I put it down to it being small and poorer quality so I bought the full size version. This isn’t the Jackie Aina brush it’s even better.

Real techniques is a special brand to me as it’s where I started to actually notice a difference in my makeup game. I began with brush that weren’t very good quality until I switched up to Real techniques and it’s been one the first brands I’ve always stuck with when using brushes for application. I seen a difference straight away. The brushes are generally soft to the skin and you don’t feel any irritation. There are also a variety to choose from that give different effects and applications with each brush. One of my favourites is this Sculpting brush. Really buffs my contour out precisely without leaving streaks. Giving me that ultimate blended base! Love love love this brush!

This is probably one of the best brushes that Real Techniques has come out with. The bristles are very dense, yet soft. I find this brush to be great at multi-tasking. You can use this for foundation, with a stippling or buffing motion. It doesn't leave foundation streaks at all, unlike their Expert Face Brush. The shape of the bristles even allow you to reach hard angles around the face, like the sides of the nose, under the eyes, or between the eyebrows. You can even use this brush to blend out concealer, or apply blush. But my favorite use for this brush is contour. I prefer this brush over my other contour brushes because it gives me a natural, diffused shadow under my cheek bones. If you like a sharp chiseled look, this probably isn't for you. But for an ... I haven't experienced any shedding at all and I can easily tell this brush will last me years.

This is a great brush for cream contour or bronzer. BUT over time, the matte black on the bottom of the handle, becomes very sticky and gross. Yes, I wash my brushes. It’s not a cleanliness thing. It’s a material thing. The soft touch material just ages poorly.
Im a huge fan of Real Techniques brushes and i own most of them. this one will always be my favorite through. I use it for cream contour or cream bronzer. This brush is has soft bristles but they are stiff enough to be person for creams. I always get a seamless blend and there are never brush storkes. i love this brush so much and its the only one i love for my creams. its so diverse and i highly recommend it
This is a great dense brush that I actually use for my foundation application instead of what it is marketed for, so it’s definitely a versatile brush that can be used in various steps of your routine. I think that it gives a great finish for foundation and blends really well since it is so dense and the slant helps it fit in smaller contours of your face too. I’ve actually already repurchased this brush because it’s just that good.
I love RT brushes! They’re easy to clean and the bristles hold their shape well when drying. The fibers aren’t the softest but always apply product seamlessly. They’re durable, affordable, and reliable. You can use one brush for multiple steps like the little fluffy setting brush for blending out concealer or liquid highlighter, and powder products.
So glad I purchased these. I was looking for an alternative to the expensive own brand Bare Minerals brushes and these have worked out perfectly. For the price the selection of brushes is excellent. I don’t think I will use the sponge but the other brushes are great for the Bare Minerals original foundation. The blusher brush is lovely and soft and great for blusher. The crease brush is also lovely and soft and great for eyeshadow. The brushes are lovely shimmering pastel colours and I’m really pleased with them. Excellent value for money and work well. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to save a few pounds on more expensive brands.😍
I have it in purple and I use it to apply creamy contour and it is wonderful. It adapts to feature of the bone parts (on the cheekbone, forehead lower part of the jaw) and it helps blending it easily thanks to the shape of the brush. Affordable price. I totally recommend it!
