First off, generally speaking I love my iPad. If you’re a professional artist who does my like to be attached to a desk or simply want to have a digital sketchbook, the iPad Pro is fantastic! Now, the things I don’t care about it have everything to do with Apple and the way they go about things… first, to get the iPad Pro I currently have I had to return it twice. Once because I didn’t like the smaller screen size and the second because the screen on my brand new iPad Pro was flickering and unresponsive. The first return was on me for sure but it took two weeks to get the replacement. There were other issues with the exchange for a working iPad Pro but this wall of text is too long already; so I will simply say that apples customer service isn’t as great as apple Stans will tell you and it has everything to do with apple and not with the employees who are just trying to do their jobs. Also, the iOS is nerfed so it’s more like a phone than a full “Pro” level piece of gear; just try to find the file you just saved! And if your workflow requires external interfaces be prepared to spend lots of money every time apple decides to no longer support the gear they supported and you bought six months ago. TL;DR: iPad Pro is a great price of tech there are some amazing apps. However, Apple smells their own farts and publishes it as a new iOS.

My wife took it over when she became obsessed with Procreate (a drawing application). Over time the battery got worse and worse and the performance dropped. This reduces the cost of ownership because when you upgrade in a few years you can still sell for a good amount. Neutral (compared to the Gen2): - the Mini LED feels a bit hyped. The screen in side by side comparisons wasn’t noticeably better in my opinion. If you’re not a professional who relies on nuanced color calibration, etc. you may not notice a difference. I am a photographer and don’t think most people will notice a difference. - the form factor remains largely unchanged. With a case it’s still a heavy machine relatively speaking. Negatives - price. I got the 256GB plus a case and a pencil. It’s a big chunk on money for most people. Most people should stick with an Air or regular iPad. Throw in the keyboard and some dongles and taxes and you’ve cleared two thousand pretty easily. - the form factor is slightly thicker than Gen4 so while I got a case which fit, the Apple Pencil didn’t charge. So if you need pencil charging, get a Gen5 case. - Apple really needs to just commit to one port type. This is lightning (USB C) which is great, but most apple products are still lightning. More of an annoyance, but make up your mind Apple! - it’s almost a PC replacement but not quite there for most people. Certain user types may be able yo replace their PC or Mac but I still see it as a secondary device.

The screen size is comparable to a laptop. Movies while traveling do not require squinting. Sound is excellent (no tinny sound). Sure the 12.9 is a bit more $ than the 11" but the extra screen size makes quite a difference for me. Add all the features to the RAM and storage, speed and high quality graphics and camera, and you've got the ultimate iPad. I purchased this iPad 6th generation to get the facial recognition which is amazing for logging in to many apps because it eliminates the need to enter passwords. I'm 68 and have no desire to keep a list of passwords! I love it. Kudos to Apple. Don’t sleep on refurbished products from Best Buy!

This is my second refurbished purchase from Best Buy (the first was galaxy pro 2 ear buds) and I absolute love it! I really needed a new device for school, but didn’t want to pay $1500+ for the new M4 13 inch iPad Pro + the keyboard and pencil. So instead…I found a refurbished, 13 inch iPad Pro for only $800 and it has been great! Just like new, wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s refurbished if I didn’t tell anyone. I also received an open-box Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and it is also in perfect condition.The only downside is that it didn’t clarify online whether the iPad Pro would be a 5th or 6th generation. I unfortunately assumed it would be 6th generation, but instead I received a 5th generation. I ordered a couple things before this purchase. I know Walmart has it all so I started getting curious about electronics. Wow! The tablet is less than 1/3 of the price from the Apple Store. Of course after a week it starts glitching. It’s okay right? They let me return that lamp I broke; all useless, with no box. Nope. All the sudden cause it’s “electronics” my store won’t accept the return with no box. Even after I told the app I didn’t have a box. I don’t care if you are worried about a switch-a-roo. I am willing to wait patiently for 10-14 business days for the money back. That is enough time to verify it’s the same item. No year, model,or generation in advertising iPad.

I would never have bought this if I had known it was a 2015 1st gen. Eight years old.I purchased this iPad based on the description Walmart online gave me. Nowhere in the description did it say I would be buying a 2015 1 st generation iPad. 8 years old and 1st generation ( they’re on 9th gen now) I would never consider this . I bought the insurance with it and sent it in with its short battery life only then did the insurance service informed me of the year and model. I contacted Walmart and the service company by phone and emails. No follow up looks like I’m stuck with a $400 outdated Apple iPad. 12.9 2015 gen 1. The Apple Store doesn’t want it to trade up. If not remedied I will not use Walmart in the future.

Good Points: Really good, really fast. The graphics are great. I bought this iPad last month, I am a college student studying Graphic Design, Business and Maths. I use ProCreate and Adobe software for Graphic Design and this iPad has made hand drawing rendering so much easier (Using the Apple Pencil). My note taking has been so much more organised and neat in digital form. The pencil gestures and behaviour make a lot of things much easier such as drawing graphs in Maths and Business. The battery gets me through the whole day, even into my evening as well. I am very pleased that after a full day of note taking I am also able to come home and relax by watching Netflix and still have a good 30-40% battery left. I have to say that so far so good.The 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 was packed in a non-descript box and was well protected. It came with a non-apple wall charger. After charging the tablet it started right up with defaulted to factory reset condition. Configuration was easy as I used my copied the apps and data from my existing iPad over to the new device.IMO, the tablet is in excellent condition. There are no obvious scuffs, scratches or other defects on its exterior. The screen is perfect. Everything appears to be functioning well. TERRIBLE!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!

I returned this to the seller less than 3 months after purchasing because the battery died and the new charger it came with wouldn’t charge this iPad. After trying the brand new charger, I tried the same cord I use for my iPhone but that didn’t work either. I tried 3 or 4 different cords and chargers but none of them worked to charge this iPad. I returned the iPad for repair and they allegedly “fixed” it and sent it back fully charged. I hardly ever use this iPad, so when it came back fully charged, I had no reason to try to charge it. A few months later, the iPad won’t charge (1st time I needed to do it probably didn’t work the entire time!)! None of the chargers work so once again, I’m stuck with an iPad that won’t charge!!
