It arrived and I had to use it first off because I was excited about it. I waited the five minutes of charge time to get one shave out of it and it works great. It was very comfortable to shave with, did not scrape my sensitive skin, and was very quick. Very enjoyable experience. I would give this product 6 stars if I could. I haven't shaved wet since I received the product. I am very pleased. Irritation: I have begun using this dry because i do not notice much irritation, but i do put some lotation on after shaving as well. Efficiency: As will most electric razers you have to go over areas multiple times at different angles so it does take me longer to shave in general as opposed to straight razer options.

The shaver generally gives you a good user experience in terms of shaving and cleaning. The product is slim and fits well in my palm. (I have a small hand). It is wrapped with a rubber-like material which minimises slipping and it stays well in your hand. Also, it feels light. However, the letdown is it does not give you a close shave. The blade easily irritates my skin when I apply pressure in order to achieve a close shave. Also if your hairs are several days old, it quite often pulls so which makes it painful to use. Noise-wise, I found it has less treble than my current Philips Aquatouch rotary shaver, (8 years old) even when it is in turbo mode. I did not feel that the 360° PivotBall is soft enough to maintain good contact with your face while shaving though. I'm not a hairy person by nature so I don't need a heavy duty shaver. However, I get random tuffs of hair on my face on the flat parts and curved parts of my space and so far, there has been no electric shaver I have used that effectively cleanly shaves both types of surfaces; I usually end up using a combination of the electric shaver followed by a manual shave using a plain razor. I recently tested the Remington rotary head shaver. I have used a number of rotary shavers in the past, but this one just left more to desire. On my 1st use, I was growing out stubble and wanted to shave my neck. I have quite thick stubble so I started using the trimmer head. This worked well. I then used the rotary head, unfortunately this was not great. The ball joint did allow the head to contour my neck well. However, even with turbo mode I felt the shaver lacked power, did not produce a close shave and caused skin irrtaion (I don't normally get). I ended up using my old shaver to finish it off. After this, I used it to complete a full face shave, using the trimmer head 1st. It did work better on my face but still not to my liking and ended up using my old ... MoreI recently tested the Remington rotary head shaver. The shaver is packaged well. It looks great and feel balanced in the hand and has a very handy trimming attachment. The charge lasts a long time and is great to use in the shower (waterproof). But if you’re looking for a close shave - especially a quick one, this will not give it. Be careful using it on thin skin (eg neck) as it will cut/irritate - even using it lightly over the skin. I don’t have thick hair but this still struggled to cut mine. You will need many passes to shave clear any section. I still found hairs it missed after several goes - even moving very very slowly. It works best with wet/moistened hair. It almost will not cut dry hair. The benefit is it is very portable and handy to use any time without any mess. It’s also very easy to clean. I opened the box I thought, this is what my dad had 20 years ago, after taking it out and feeling the weight, the grip & removing and attaching the accessories I was starting to think developments have been made. I shave 2 to 3 times p/w, for this test I thought I’ll go a week without shaving & give this shaver a whirl, bad idea. Having stubble that is only 1mm long really pulls & pinches the hair. You'll have to attach the trimmer, do a once over then reattach the rotary. Shaving was smooth, most of the stubble was cut & left with a smooth finish, around the jaw & Adams apple required 6,7 takes but still left a rough finish & some bad shaver rash, changing to a daily routine seemed to be the way to go. The shaver is light in weight. It comes with a USB charger, which would be useful when travelling overseas. I have used this shaver over a number of days, and in varying circumstances ranging from 1 day old growth to a few days of growth. After a few weeks of usage, I must say that I am not exactly a fan of this product. This is primarily due to a comparison with an existing electric shaver that I have from another brand. I have found that the shave is not even. Multiple attempts have to be made before an even finish can be achieved. The shaver does not appear to perform well along the contours of the face, such as around the neck areas. There is a slight amount of irritation when using the shaver in dry mode.
The battery lasts a very long time and after shaving for 7 days straight it still doesn't require recharging. I love that it can be used in the shower or with shaving gel / cream and that there is a turbo button which gives extra power when needed. It didn't irritate the skin when shaving but I did apply after shave balm when I was finished. The x7 Limitless gives as close a shave as you could get without using a razor blade with the safety benefit of not being able to cut yourself. Highly recommended especially for people who don't have a steady enough hand to use a razor for one reason or another. It's also quite clean as all the trimmed hairs go in to the machine and you just empty it when done so you don't have clippings flinging all over the bathroom.
The Remington Limitless X7 Rotary Shaver has a a sleek look to it. It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. The pivoting head maintains a good contact with the skin. The unit is reasonably quiet and works well on light growth. It had to work harder on a thicker growth and did pull the whiskers out instead on cutting at times, but with thicker growth, that is to be expected. The turbo mode works well on thicker growth. The interchangeable head was a nice touch to enable maintenance of sideburns. The shaver is charged using a USB cord. There is no adapter to enable you to plug in to a mains power point, which means that you may need to purchase an adapter. A battery remaining indicator would be a nice touch, as you never know how much charge you have left.
I am speechless. I tried a lot of razors before. I tried nearly all available razors on the market. Before I had the Remington Limitless X7 Rotary Shaver I have used recently a German Muehle Safety razor and experienced the cleanest shave I ever had until now. My face was always bleeding after this. This Remington rotary shaver is impressive. It was a really clean shave. The first time I used it wet after showering with shaving creme. I had to get used to it first. After some tries, I got used to it. I highly recommend a dry shave for just shaving off stubble. Thanks so much for letting me test this amazing product.
