I picked this up, because I've never played these games before. However, the framerate is quite awful in Resident Evil 5 and 6.This affects some people more than others. The biggest advantage this version has though, is that it's portable. Now you can play the game anywhere.Overall I had a good time, but it might be due to never playing these games before. Give it a go if that's the case, or if you want them to be portable. If you've played them before, then I wouldn't recommend it. There are better versions of these games out there.

I expected this game to have a bunch of freezing and lag issues at certain points but it does not. I did notice a slight frame skip in the first stage of RE5 when there are numerous zombies on the screen at once, but not after that.Furthermore, being that it is Nintendo Switch online multiplayer, I expected the service to be poor quality at best like how Mario Maker 2 performs online. I didn’t have any lag spikes at all during the entire RE5 campaign with my buddy (we haven’t played RE6 online yet). So, I am very satisfied with this port. It performs as I had hoped and beyond what I expected.

For starters, RE 5 and RE6 are digital downloads which sucks. But I did find solace in the fact that I was finally able to get RE4 physically. These are older games so there isn't much new to say about them. I love the whacky RE series, and since it doesn't seem as though we'll get any of the newer games anytime soon this will be good enough. RE4 is a classic. I haven't touched it since the gamecube, so it feels good to play it again, especially portably. I played through RE5 with my Fiancee. She doesn't really like scary games or zombies really, but she does like co-op shooters like Halo so I was able to convince her to play through the game with me. We haven't gotten far is RE6 yet. We started Leon's story and are on like the second mission or so.These games are ... MoreFor starters, RE 5 and RE6 are digital downloads which sucks. Being a huge fan of the Resident Evil line, it was good to be able to play this on the go. Graphics are very good especially on the Switch OLED. Very clear and precise. Controls take a bit getting used to but overall great gameplay!
4 is entirely on the cartridge, but 5 and 6 are available via download codes, so make sure your switch has a lot of space for them. Games look pretty good. No crazy new textures but the picture quality is great. 4 has no gyro aiming, which sucks, but 5 and 6 do so there's that. If you're a fan of the resident evil franchise, I would definitely pick this up, even if you have it on another console because of the ability to play it on the go.
Resident evil 4 and 5 are superb 3rd person action "horror" games with non stop tense close encounters, (Which INITALLY control clunky by modern standards.)If your not fan of having to make every round count and conserve all the healing and resource items you can, then odds are you will be disappointed with RE 4 and 5.RE4 is the full package including the alternate episodes after completing the game. As well as mercenaries.Same with RE5 (the download code in the box) seems to include all the old DLC and the better Version of the enjoyable "mercenaries" mode.RE 5 and RE 6 have full online co-op support but require a Nintendo online membership to use. All Resident Evil games are fantastic, I have played all Nintendo ones! The Triple Pack is great value as it brings my favourite (RE4) on the cartridge + 5 and 6 that you can download! Also the side games are a big plus! How does it get any better than this? I am now a very happy owner!
Your mileage may vary with each game but this is solid collection. Be sure to check out Mercenaries Mode!-RE4 is an absolute classic. Highly recommended.-RE5 is really fun, but more action-oriented. Big focus on co-op.-RE6 is the weakest of the bunch. 3 separate campaigns, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
I bought this for my brother on his birthday, and he was ecstatic. So much Resident Evil is shoved into this tiny cartridge. If you haven't played these, or just want to take the terrifying journey again, I would highly recommend these. To be clear, they are difficult, and not for younger players, in my opinion. But when I played some of it again with my brother, we get into it. Total fun, if you are okay with these types of mature games.
Never did I think I would have the opportunity to play these classics on a newer system until the fan community pushed the "boom" on making these titles popular again. I've always been a fan since the beginning and looked forward to the series as a whole, just as I did with wanting "Silent Hill" as well. Both are my "must have" series collection. It will take me some time to get them, but this is a good start.
