Fits and doesn't move around

My next order will be a Comfort Classic for price and the FX headgear---If I can get it that way.

I've been using this since day 1 (about 15 years now), and I like it. I am a side/stomach sleeper, and the harness really stays on. I once tried the "Wisp" and threw it in the trash one or two days later. The things I don't like are the marks it leaves on your face in the AM, and how, if you have your face really into the pillow, the swivel nozzle that connects the tube to the cushion, will press hard against your nose. But it's a solid product.

It is expensive but works.

MIRAGE
27 May 2015

The old mask had given up the ghost- it was two years old. Tried two less expensive ones- a full-face when my sinuses go nuts and a nasal mask that was, um, horrible after the first night. So I got this one. After two weeks of continual use, it works like a charm! Face to mask gaps are eliminated, cleaning is the easiest I've had with a mask. The only thing I might change a little would be the head straps. Innovative connectors are great...but for some reason, I want more response for the back of my head...I feel it coming loose...and it isn't, because the skull strap is made of two parts. Not sure if this can be changed ... but the bottom line is it works and works well. Haven't taken the mask off in the middle of the night for two whole weeks! And it is QUIET. Most comfortable mask!

Usually use ultra mirage II. But they were recently discontinued. Took me a few but finally found this one its perfect. Fits great-almost better than the Ultra Mirage II

Need only one part? Too bad
18 January 2021

All I needed was the plastic piece that holds the straps on and the cushion in because the little plastic piece with a hook that holds the strap broke. Guess what? You can't buy that part separate; you have to buy the whole thing. I'm now using plastic xmas ornament hooks and duct tape to fix it so next time I don't have to spend $100 plus for a tiny piece of plastic. What a rip off.

So far so good
28 April 2023

Having been using a Quattro Air full face for several years, my doctor decided I can benefit from a nasal model since red marks were an issue with me. So I gave the Mirage FX a try since it was recommended by a friend. She has been using it non-stop without issues. It is cheaper than the Quattro air too.First impressions were very positive. The Spring Air cushion allowed me to fit the mask exactly to my facial featues and prevent leaks. The mask is also easy to put on and off at night because of Resmed’s quick release function. I am also a nose breather and the FX was just right for me in that regard as well.Overall, I am very content with the purchase and so far have no problems with the mask.

Unmet expectations

This ask was suggested as a replacement for the TrueBlue mask I had been using for most of my treatment years. I looked forward to getting the mask and trying it out,It arrived promptly, I carefully read the fitting procedures and tried the mask, pressure testing the fit before bed. After two weeks of large leaks and less effective treatment, I was forced to admit this mask doesn’t work for me.Apria Direct recommended it as a replacement for a discontinued mask, shipped it promptly, and it arrived in timely fashion, I have since found out that it is now discontinued,,My search for a comfortable mask that doesn’t leak for me continues,

Wow. Great replacement for my old Ultra Mirage II
12 February 2024

Was nervous about getting a new mask because I had tried several in the past that I did not like. I was using an Ultra Mirage II and have for years. It worked okay for me but was discontinued. The Mirage FX is so much better. It is very lite weight. Much simpler to adjust than the Mirage II, but still able to get a great fit. Fits snuggly over my nose, but with very little pressure. I have much less air leakage even though I am a side sleeper. Also, much less air noise due to the pressure relief being in the mask instead of the elbow in the Ultra Mirage II which could be like a leaf blower sometimes. My only reservation is that the mask is so lite I worry it will not last. After using it a month it is so much better than my old mask, I would gladly buy another if it ... MoreWas nervous about getting a new mask because I had tried several in the past that I did not like.
