As someone who commutes a lot and needs to stay focused during the day, the noise cancellation on these has been a game changer for me. The 2x improvement over the previous model is extremely noticeable, as i can now hear dramatically less background noise when I'm trying to concentrate. Hooking them up to my phone with Bluetooth was simple! Just hold down the button on the back of the case while your phone is searching for a device. What I wasn't expecting was that upon hooking them up to my phone with Bluetooth, without even being on a call yet, the noise cancellation was activated.. But they didn't make everything so silent that you are not completely aware of your surroundings, thanks to transparency mode which you can easily switch in or out of. It's useful when I'm walking through a busy city street or while I'm at home with my kids so that I can hear any nearby conversations, traffic noises, announcements, or people speaking to you, without having to constantly take the earbuds out! I don't feel isolated from my environment this way. Needless to say, the audio quality while in call, or listening to music is flawless. It's been a while since I've been able to actually hear the other caller or music with such clarity, and the caller could hear me perfectly too thanks to the personalized spatial audio and volume adjustments that really tailored the experience to my preferences. I love how immersed I feel in my music and podcasts. The comfortable silicone tips also help keep the AirPods securely in my ears while doing chores at home or during workouts. I will admit that at first I wasn't sure if they would actually stay in my ear the whole time without slipping out, because regardless of which size tip I put in (they include 3 different sized silicone tips), it just felt like it wasn't going to hold, but to my surprise it held quite well without me having to constantly push it back in. As for the battery life, I can get up to 6 hours of use with the noise cancellation feature on, versus the 4.5 hours of the previous model. And the MagSafe charging case extends that to a total of 24 hours, so I rarely have to worry about running out of battery. As a frequent earbud user, the upgrades in these 2nd generation AirPods Pro have been nothing short of amazing! The noise cancellation, transparency, and audio customization features make them a pleasure to use in all the settings of my busy life. Please don't hesitate to consider getting a refurbished product from Bestbuy! The Geek Squad certified refurbished condition ensures that you're getting a high quality product at a better value. And they arrived in excellent condition too! Overall, I'd highly recommend these earbuds to anyone that's in the market for a premium wireless audio experience.

Deeply Unimpressive, Incredibly Flawed Product

I got these as my first pair of earbuds ever to use at my job, but they aren’t the quality I’d expect from an Apple product at all and have a ton of issues!I have an iPhone 11 so *maybe* some of these issues would be solved by having a more current iPhone, but I can’t imagine ALL of them would.Also I’m writing this review after using them fairly consistently for nearly a year.The bad:- Rubber tips they come with don’t keep the buds in my ears so they fall out easily. By that I mean they will randomly stop working and I’ll have to take them out of my ears, return BOTH of them to the case, then take them out again to get them to reconnect. You’d think with this happening so much that I’m using an off-brand product, but no…I’m using 2 Apple products that ironically don’t work well together. Joy!-Poor Siri integration. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Like I’ll get a phone call and she’s like “would you like to answer?” and I’ll say “answer” in like 10 different ways, even screaming ANSWER, and she won’t answer the call. Thanks Siri you lazy bum. Having a completely hands-free phone experience was one of the main reasons I bought these buds, but it only works when it feels like it.- Strange and inconsistent charging. I can’t tell you how many times it has just decided that it’s not going to charge ONE earbud. I charge it all night, wake up, and one earbud is completely dead while the case and the other bud are at 100%. And the worst part is I can’t figure out WHY. The uncharged bud seems to have been seated correctly and there’s no debris blocking the contacts, but I guess it just didn’t feel like charging that night. So when I plug them in at night I’m always wondering what results I’ll get in the morning!- Volume control by stroking the stem sucks. It has to be done in an extremely specific way that I haven’t mastered even a year in. It’s like with the way the buds naturally sit in your ear you almost have to reach between the stem and your head to control the volume which is just so terrible.The good:-Sound seems good. Not that I care…I’ve never been an audiophile or anything.-Noise cancellation is great. Can turn even loud noises into dull ones.- Comfortable. I’ve NEVER been wearing these and felt like I needed to take them out because they are hurting my ears.In closing…very disappointed. I figured by gen 2 all the kinks would be worked out, but far from it. These buds are just one issue after another. I won’t be buying AirPods ever again after this horrible experience, and you shouldn’t either!

But headphones cannot yet replace full-fledged professional Hearing aids. There is extra noise, sometimes you can hear a little whistling, and the quality of the transmitted sound is worse than professional ones. As a temporary solution, you can use. For example, for a walk in changeable weather, or going to the store, for sports in the gym, or on the street. Real hearing aids are afraid of moisture and dust, and they are very expensive. AirPods 2 are cheaper, better protected and help solve hearing problems in people with such defects in more difficult conditions.

Great price and service, good product

CEX sells the AirPods Pro 2 at the cheapest price anywhere and has fast delivery, the problem lies with the AirPods themselves. The AirPods deliver good sound with decent bass and is relatively good at lowering the volume of background noise. However the noise never really goes unless it’s already distant and quiet. For example, if someone flushes the toilet in another room, you will hear it. But if someone is talking quietly enough in another room, you likely won’t. The AirPods fit comfortably in the ear and are not likely to fall out if you get the correct sized silicone tip. The microphone quality is okay however is glitchy when first connecting to calls for about two minutes. Great for music, fantastic for mild hearing loss, amazing at completely eliminating noise in any busy location and, all the while, people around you will think you're just listening to music which is an asset for a pro musician when others might wrongly suggest your time is up!

Wished "Find My" app would have worked for me...

I did have the left earbud fall out in front of my apartment building, but I was unable to locate it using the "Find My" app. I see there have been some improvements in the locating technology, but I was only able to see the location of the lost earbud on the map, but could not get the sound alert to activate even though I was right within the general area of the "pin drop" that showed the lost earbud's last known location. I noticed it was gone apparently right after iit fell out the case so I was hoping to find it. Then it also plays a sound through that interface that provides you directions to the area. I'm assuming the earbud might have gotten crushed by one of the cars passing by, as it fell out the case in the parking lot as I was walking towards my apartment building. It's been three weeks since I lost it and is still showing in the same location in front of my apartment so I guess I need to call for a replacement...😔

Zero Customer Service, Faulty AirPods

Staples doesn't offer refunds or exchanges on headphones, and my call–request to speak with a Supervisor was never returned.I've never been more disappointed with an Apple product –– There's zero sound clarity on the high notes, the sound is deep and muddy. Transparency Mode malfunctions, making background noises much louder than real life. Battery goes down by 9% when talking only 5 mins on the phone. Sound needs to be boosted to 80% volume to hear a normal phone call, which also drains the phone battery. My ears were literally burning, from less than 3 minutes of use of the AirPods. Once Apple sends the 'new replacement' AirPods, fortunately my Mom's agreed to buy them from me. Why Staples would refuse to offer a refund in this instance is beyond me.
