Revolution Reloaded Palette Sugar Pie

I purchased this eyeshadow palette months ago at Target near me while shopping with Kirk as the colors looked interesting to both of us, I had not yet tried any products from this brand at the time, and the price point seemed reasonable. This is a palette I would highly recommend giving a try, to anyone who loves putting together colorful and creative eyeshadow/eye makeup looks, and is looking for a palette of eyeshadows which are soft, blendadable, and very pigmented. The price point is pretty great, as well. I really can't think of anything I dislike about this eyeshadow palette, it is a great one! :) 👁️✨

I love this palette very much. It’s not expensive at all and it contains beautiful colors. Regarding the pigmentation, SOME colors are not super pigmented (the very dark colors are pigmented!). However for me this is a plus! I don’t like my eyes to have too much makeup. Because the pigmentation is not hard it allows me to be free and built up the hardness I desire with the colors. The only thing I wish this palette had, is a bigger variation between light and dark colors. I feel like it mainly consist of very dark colors. I want a variation between those so I can play around with light and dark parts on my eyelids.

The colour is semi sheer, so if you are into full-pigmented palette, this is not yours. But the quality is quite great. I had nothing much to complain about. I also have very light hand, but I had absolutely no problem with managing smoky eyes 😮 actually it took me about a couple minutes including all blending. Dupe to Juvia's Place Nubian I Palette

I love this palette so much, the pigmentation is there, it's blend-able and you can use it as a blush, contour and bronzer as well. This palette gave me such a vibe and is similar dupe to Juvia's Place Nubian I palette. It gives you a bit of everything on the neutral brown side. Definitely a keep to your collection. I would grab this one for a every day look. You can pull so many variation looks with this palette.

My favorite pallette!

This eyeshadow pallette performs really well. The peachy eyeshadow (first row) is a little patchy, you need to work a bit more for it to look good, but the metallics are buttery and really long lasting, especially if you add eyeshadow primer (10+ hours). The only problem is the lack of matte shades, especially for blending in the crease. It's a pallette you can use both in daytime and nighttime, really versatile. 5:star:

I've been buying Makeup Revolution eye shadow palettes since before they started selling them here in the USA. The initial ones were pretty lame quality. They began stepping it up w/ the various chocolate bar palettes. These RELOADED palettes are even better! I own probably 60+ various high-end palettes and these are a lot better quality (and cheaper, of course) than many of them...Too Faced, I'm looking at you. I started out w/ the Reloaded Newtrals b/c I collect/use Cranberry/Mauve/Pink-toned palettes on my green eyes & this one is WONDERFUL!!! It is so rich & creamy. The shadows are way more pigmented than any of my Too Faced palettes & are pretty comparable to my Huda palettes in pigmentation but these are way more creamy. They blend out like a dream. I was super surprised with the shimmers, as that's always the MUR one's that have seemed most "lacking" to me. I only use shimmers on my lid so find they are super pigmented when applied with my finger since it takes less precision there. They also apply well with a brush in the inner corner. As someone with older, hooded eyes, I also appreciate the vast array of beautiful (ie,neither boring or nor outrageous) mattes for using as crease & transition shades. If you have been on the fence about forking out a bunch of $$ on the Huda Desert Dusk or Mauve Obsessions palettes (I have both) I'd say this palette will give you pretty close to those shades. I loved this palette so much, I then bought the Vitality one as well & am super happy with it's near perfect dupe of ABH Modern Renaissance. Some mention the smell. I didn't notice a smell with either of these but def did with many of the previously purchased ones that smell like a cross between mushrooms & potting soil. I ordered mine online so maybe it's a "batch" issue?? In any event, these are SUPERB quality for how inexpensive they are. I love that I'm not paying extra for a cheap brush I'll never use or a mirror I have never once used to apply my makeup with.

Purchased Revolution Iconic 3.0 palette

I did not purchase the palette shown, but I did purchase the Revolution Iconic 3.0 palette and would HIGHLY recommend it you are looking for some everyday natural looking colors! I normally only wear about half the colors in a palette, however this one is the exception to the rule! I will wear them all & love the pigment & lasting color! Revolution, you knocked it out of the park with this palette!! Good job! I will probably purchase another one as a back up once I use all of this one!

Revolution Reloaded "Provocative" Eye Shadow Palette Isn't Ver Pink

I bought this and I'm happy enough with the quality of the eye shadows but the color on the Target website really doesn't reflect the colors. Everything looks a lot more pink on the website, and this collection definitely has more brownish and warm toned pinks. The photo on the right is what's on the Target site and what I was expecting. The photo on the left is from the Google Shopping/Ulta Beauty and it reflects the true colors in this palette.

Solid mattes, awful shimmers (Division Palette)

To start with the positive: the mattes are really great! I've been playing with this palette for several weeks now, and the mattes are a little bit powdery, but they blend really nicely on the eye as long as you're willing to work with them a little bit, and the color selection is good enough that you can get a decent natural look or something more dramatic (though I think it would be nice to have a lighter matte shade in the palette somewhere).However, here's the huge downside for me: two of the three shimmers in this palette are really, really bad, which means it's really hard to do a complete, cohesive eyeshadow look without bringing in another palette. The light green has huge, chunky glitter that makes it very difficult to apply even with a fixing spray, and the fallout is horrendous. The bronze-y shimmer is the best of the three, but it still applies sort of unevenly, and it's too dark to work as a browbone or inner corner highlight on my skin tone.All in all, if you absolutely loved the look of the Anastasia Subculture palette but didn't want to shell out for it this is probably a pretty solid dupe! But I really prefer to work within a single palette for most of my eyeshadow palettes, and the quality of the shimmers just makes that impossible for me.

Velvet Rose is one of my HG

I quite prefer that the pigment is moderate and buildable in the Reloaded series. Velvet Rose is the dupe for Soft Glam and I have several backups since it's one of my HG staples. I always use with a good primer and have never had issues with this palette. If you're looking for a well-priced, travel friendly neutral workhorse palette, the Reloaded series has a lot of options.
