great little winch, it is mounted to the front of my Zero Turn Mower and i have used it a number of time to pull my mower out of some tight spots on my property.

great little winch, it is mounted to the front of my Zero Turn Mower and i have used it a number of time to pull my mower out of some tight spots on my property.
I couldn’t work out the position of the holes to bolt it down before I biught it.. I ended up having to drill 2 holes in the winch post to secure it. Now that it’s installed it works as expected. It would have helped if the location of the securing bolt holes were listed in manual.
It worked ok but was too weak for the job, will use it for another project
Looked good.initialy worked ok then started making grinding noises as if the gears weren't meshing properly.that took just 30 mins
What a bargain this was just when I needed to try something to make live easier to load my ride on mower on the trailer.
it what i expected to be,i replaced the cable stainless steel and the bolts with stainless.a very good product.
Bought this to drag a 490kg trailer backwards into its parking spot down the side of our house that is not really accessible with the car as well. I didn't bolt it down I've welded it to a spare tow bar hitch and added a receiver to the back of the trailer. it drags the trailer up a slight hill in sand with the jockey wheel being dragged through the sand with no problems at all.
Winch package appears good, but it could be improved with 5/16 connecting eyelets on the power supply cable from the battery, also the control box has a tendency to rotate on the motor, cable ties alone, cannot grip it together. Yes it does perform for my application, for raising & lowering my camper top, with no problems.
