This product is worth every penny ! It is so bright and so well made ! It works exactly as described. The 3D camera is excellent. We always know who is in our backyard . Customer support is exceptional. Had to make a few "tweaks " after having professionally installed. light covers my entire backyard ( not that large). Lights are as bright as you need and the motion sensor and camera work perfectly. You can set up for aerial (birds eye view) or directly forward and sideways. Highly recommend this product and Ring in general;

I purchased the floodlight cam along with the doorbell and an additional spotlight cam. After I had all three installed I discovered that the floodlight cam does not work with my PC. When I Googled the problem, I found many others have the same issue. Apparently, the app for windows does not support this camera for some ignorant reason, even though Ring claims that it will on its packaging. At these prices I expect things to work the way they are intended to. I would have never purchased these products had I known that I wouldn't be able to use them the way that I had intended. I certainly would have gone with a different brand. Now I'm limited to only being able to use it with my phone. I am highly disappointed in this purchase, but since it is already installed, I ... The reason I bought this fixture was due to problems with the neighbor and their animals. One being a 600 LB horse and the other being a 135 LB pit-bull. During the trial period (30 days) it was great. It would catch leaves falling off the trees, but as soon I subscribed to the service the performance went downhill. This device is mounted about 9ft off the ground and pointed straight at the area where the neighbor and his animal's trespass through to get in my yard, and it catches nothing! It will NEVER detect the animals. I have tried adjusting setting and positions, but nothing helps. The audio is no better. Sometimes the audio comes in clear and other times its garbled. This is a great camera with many options! The quality of the pictures/videos is very clear. I especially like the video/motion settings/options you can set. I would like a little larger range for the motion sensitivity settings, however. Impressed with the bird's eye zones you can set too. You have options you can set and change with motion and lighting schedules that you can set differently for each day. All around impressed with this product and glad I upgraded to a Ring.On the downside, was not expecting to have to pay monthly fee subscription to be able to save my videos.
Ring floodlights are amazingly easy to use and install. I like them much better than Arlo. They are very sensitive to activity, even if my vehicle is parked on the street in front of my home. You can set your perimeter where you want it. You can set the volume for the voice activated warning that the person is being recorded for low in the AM and high in the PM. It has been such a wonderful deterent, and I've seen less activity at nightime since owning it. Potential threats walkk down the other side of my street now! I feel safer!! Great quality.
