This game has all the trappings of any world domination game, but the twist is what captivated me and my friends.I love that the game board is permanently changed by the decisions that the players make. Some have been bad, others good, but in the end, you get a unique game board, and races, that will alter all future games.The board remains playable after all the packets have been opened, even to those that didn't have a hand in shaping it.I, for example, am sometimes picked on because I have created a distinct advantage for myself on the board, but when it does happen, I can still mess with other peoples combats and play a part in helping someone win.My suggestion- Have a regular group to play with for the first 15 games.

It's nice to have extra game pieces. I'm glad they sell game pieces separately. Risk Game pieces are very detailed and each faction is unique. The only downside is there's only a handful of pieces. But then again if you already have Legacy Risk game pieces chances are you only need a few more to replace lost pieces or add to the overall number.
We were playing this game with my seven year old grandson. He loves it. It often goes fast and it changes each time you play it. There are lots of surprises, cards that evolve the game. He has a blast.
Taking one block on a turn from any level of the tower andplacing it on the topmost level in order to complete it. It is fun and nerve-racking all at the same time.The game ends when the tower falls -- completely or if any block falls from the tower. Fun for the whole family!!
It came from the returns department with no plastic wrap around the game, but a sticker that said "oops, whats done is done" or something like that sealing the game box. The contents seemed undisturbed. Disappointing because it was supposed to be a gift. So great game! But not ideal as a gift.
This is our 3rd time buying Risk Legacy. This game is amazing! However, quality control on this one was forgotten! The stickers wouldn’t peel off like normal and the (Spoiler Alert) mutants were in the Aliens place and vice versa. It ruined the game play completely.
For lovers of the original Risk, Legacy is next level fun! Fortify your bases and battle on to the bitter end. Love how every game changes and the challenges stack up. Hope we are all still friends to the end lol !
This game is legitimately one of my favorite board games of all time. It is so cool how the game changes each time you play it. Such a unique and great concept. Unfortunately, risk as the base game itself is just a mediocre game, but the legacy additions really go a long way, to make this one an all-time game.
