Intelligent and expandable. Floor cleaning on a new level. What was done if you already set standards for vacuum robots? You go to the next step and simply re-find the suction robot with wiping function. This step was made with the S7 Vacuum Cleaner suction/wipe robot. Both the software and the hardware are fundamentally revised. Through the innovative sound technology, the wiper vibrates 3000 times per minute and together with an outstanding suction power of 2500Pa provides for shining floors. If a carpet is in the way, the Roborock S7 recognizes this thanks to the latest ultrasonic sensors and lifts the wiper attachment easily. The most innovative wiping function available in vacuum planters. This text is machine translated.

We have had a Roborock S6 MaxV for a year, and it's great for both keeping the floors clean without effort and for controlling allergies. It is a little weak on wet mopping performance but since we never got around to mopping much, this was still a huge improvement in terms of having a clean and tidy house. However, the battery wouldn't hold enough charge to do a whole storey on maximum suction so it was taking two days to get the 2-storey house done.We bought the Roborock S7 in a bout of pre-Christmas loosening of the pursestrings, and are pleased we did. It vacuums well, mops brilliantly (with both models the mop has to be wet until quite sodden before putting it into the mount for a good performance) and is faster, quieter, and can do downstairs without needing ... MoreWe have had a Roborock S6 MaxV for a year, and it's great for both keeping the floors clean without effort and for controlling allergies. It vacuums well, mops brilliantly (with both models the mop has to be wet until quite sodden before putting it into the mount for a good performance) and is faster, quieter, and can do downstairs without needing to recharge. It does the initial floor mapping very quickly and after that its navigation is efficient. We chose the S7 model rather than the S7 MaxV because the S7 has a larger capacity dustbin than the S7 +MaxV (470ml cf 400ml according to a table at roborock.com) and a larger water tank (300ml cf 200 ml). The dustbin size is important - the dustbin needs to be emptied once or twice during a downstairs vacuum if the cat fur has had a week to build up.Pros compared to S6MaxV: quicker, better mopping.Cons compared to S6MaxV:- dustbin is much harder to empty. Because of the angle of the opening to the bin, solid stuff such as cat food pellets fall straight out and back into the bin recess or onto the floor. I then have to use a knife to pull the dust out, then actually take out the filter so I can give it a quick vacuum with a dustbuster or go outside and knock it on the side of the house to shake the dust off. The S6MaxV design was much better.- I don't like the look of the carpet afterwards as much as I do with the S6MaxV which has a bristle brush that fluffs the carpet up a little and gives a uniform matte finish with very elegant tracks through it which has quite a restful Zen garden look.I'd highly recommend either. Our budget didn't run to auto-emptying stations but tbh unless you've got enough space somewhere out of sight for them you may not want one. Also for the S7 MaxV I think you have to use proprietary dustbags if you don't want the dust just recirculating.

I have had two Roombas and one Ecovacs, so far the Roborock is the best overall. The S7 is the first non-Roomba with a rubber roller, and much to my surprise it cleans better than Roomba. Running Roomba first followed by Roborock, the S7 picks up dirt the Roomba missed, while running Roomba second it finds very little the S7 missed. Roomba i7 and j7 are the best at climbing onto thick throw rugs without moving them, Ecovacs is the worst in that respect with Roborock somewhere in between. What Roborock does better than the others is pausing the floor cleaning when it finds a throw rug, zig-zagging to clean only the rug, then resuming cleaning for the rest of the room. Ecovacs and Roomba both just continue their normal zig-zag sweep of the entire room whether there is ... MoreI have had two Roombas and one Ecovacs, so far the Roborock is the best overall. Ecovacs and Roomba both just continue their normal zig-zag sweep of the entire room whether there is a throw rug or not. The S7's ability to raise the mop so it can clean the entire house with a mix of hard floor and carpet in one pass really works. It's best to pre-soak the mop pad for the best mopping performance, but even if you don't it still mops well. Buying the S7 on sale was a great choice as it saved $1000 over the top end version that self-empties the dustbin and cleans the mop pad. Manually emptying the dustbin is a great way to see how well it is cleaning, and the reservoir for the water and mop pad cleaning have been very easy. One other advantage of Roborock is the way it varies the direction of cleaning based on the dimensions and layout of each room, neither Ecovacs nor Roomba have that ability. Overall I’d say Roborock is the best of the three I’m trying, it just needs to improve its power management to be more efficient. In that respect Roborock and Ecovacs are the same in that they return to base with 20% battery left, then resume cleaning at 80%. Roomba’s power management that runs the battery down to zero and only charges as much as necessary to finish the job is by far superior. I’ve heard the S8 will charge faster, which is certainly a step in the right direction.

Love my new Roborock (RR) cleaner! It replaced an old, very basic, cleaner from another brand and the RR is light years ahead. The old one cleaned in a random pattern, missing spots, and frequently getting caught on furniture etc. It took a little time but I now have the RR set up exactly as I want it with each room mapped and no-go zones marked so that I can leave doors open to rooms I don't want it to go into. It's ability to mop and vacuum simultaneously, vacuum only, mop only, spot clean, zone clean and change strength of both vacuuming and mopping is a game changer. Also, being able to leave the mop pad on between washes is so convenient - it dries out just fine - and you can leave it on even if you're vacuuming only. First reactions on S7 vs Neato D5: First reactions on S7 vs Neato D5: S7 has smaller dirt bin, its tiny. Dust bin filter is tiny. Mopping function is way more advanced than the "velcro pad" i was using on my D5. S7 travels faster and is seems more intelligent than D5, changes and speed of vacuum motor and the travel speed automatically. S7 battery lasts longer than D5. S7 gets stuck on uneven floor tiles easier then D5. S7 speaks to you, and Mobile/ software is easier to use S7 dock (the small standard one not the big expensive one), moves around like crazy and robot can't find it due it keeps moving around (its very light), so i taped it down, seems fine now. S7 is louder than D5. Its sound changes dynamically and at times its whine is pretty loud, but i'm okay with it. Roller seems more advanced. S7 feels more intelligent, is better about getting whole house and not skipping rooms. This is the main reason i bought this unit, as it seams that Neato quit innovating it products and software, at least it feels that way. S7 needs a feature to tell you when dust bin gets full, cause it gets full very fast. D5 didn't have that feature either. Mop water (i put like a drop of soap in it) lasts a long time. Mop needs to be cleaned after each run, which takes a few minutes. Seems better at not getting cords stuck under, but i could be imaging that. Does NOT have the magnetic strip avoidance feature the D5 had, though as i noted seems to avoid cords pretty much okay. The swirly spinner thing is larger and works pretty good. My D5 one quit working quite a while ago. Does not fall off the step as easily as the D5. D5 was falling off step almost every day before it died. Haven't seen S7 fall off step yet. Very simple to start/ pause, sometimes D5 would get confused and could not get it to start. Is this thing supposed to be a Mop only? Just seems lacking as a vacuum. Dust bin is very small compared to other vacuum robots.
We ended up getting Roborock S7+ after trialled Deebot t9+ for 10 days. Here is my experience after a few times we used it, and some comparative analysis between the two robots: - Roborock S7 can do both mopping and vacuuming for hard floors and carpet areas in a single session, while Deebot T9 does not enter carpet areas if mopping is attached - Roborock S7 lifts the mopping for 5mm when travelling on carpet which is good enough for low to medium pile carpets. Deebot T9 does not travel on carpet and therefore if your hard floor is separated by a carpet area you will need to manually relocate the robot to your second hard floor area. - In similar wet setting mode, Roborock S7 covered our 110 sqm hard floor mopping with a single water tank, while Deebot T9 needed a ... MoreWe ended up getting Roborock S7+ after trialled Deebot t9+ for 10 days. Deebot T9 was lost and had trouble in returning to the dock 50% of the times. - Roborock S7 completely ignored and could not detect small objects such as cables as good as Deebot T9 - Noise level is less in Roborock S7, the noise level was almost the same with and without mopping attached. Deebot T9 gets quite noisy when mopping and is a little more noisy even when the mopping is not attached. - Roborock S7 you have the option to use non disposable pads and dust bag which is lower ongoing costs. Personally I prefer cyclone dust container. - Roborock S7 is more expensive, we paid almost 450 AUD more compared to Deebot T9 - Roborock S7 needs less (almost none) supervision while you cannot leave Deebot T9 unsupervised - Roborock S7 app is more flexible and user friendly offering more features and less bugs
I've been thinking about getting a robot hoover for a while now and I bought the Roborock finally! Super easy to set up - it needs to be placed in an area that has space on either side and in front of it to allow it to work effectively. Once the docking station is in place and the vacuum is on the dock it's as simple as downloading the dedicated app and following the instructions. It's simple and intuitive to set up and caused me no issues. Once you're all ready to go I suggest letting it fully charge before setting it to work. In order to get the best out of the vacuum let it do a few 'map runs' before starting cleaning. In order to get the best out of the vacuum let it do a few 'map runs' before starting cleaning. This basically means he moves about your house learning about your environment and creating a virtual map - he does this without cleaning so it's faster. After the mapping run my full downstairs was mapped out and ready to clean. A really good feature is that you can draw exclusions zones and also zones where you want extra cleaning such as a high traffic area - this has worked well for me as I excluded the area around my cat food bowls so the vacuum doesn't eat any wet cat food! If you're looking for a robot vacuum look no further - save the extra money for the Roborock and don't settle for a substandard product. I don't hoover my house anymore because this guy does it for me and does a far better job than I ever could!
Bought this after a recommendation from a mate and it is, hands down, one of the best purchases I've made. I have a large tiled area downstairs with a few rugs and regular low-pile carpet upstairs, and it does them both really well. When moving it between the ground floor and 1st storey I just move it with the base station and it figures out its location pretty quickly. I also have a sunken TV room and do the same thing in there.I think the mop function works very well also and you can definitely feel the difference when you walk on it with bare feet. You need to be realistic - it's good for regular, general mopping but if you have had a party and the floor is very dirty then you'd be best to break out a real mop instead. You need to be realistic - it's good for regular, general mopping but if you have had a party and the floor is very dirty then you'd be best to break out a real mop instead. You need to also remember to remove the mop head and rinse/wring it out each time, but still much easier than regular manual mopping. One key advantage is that it can fit into places that normally don't get cleaned, like under cupboards, couches and the oven. It navigates around obstacles & drops very well.I wasn't expecting just how much dust it could pick up on the carpet. This is probably because it runs slower and more overlapping than the haphazard way I usually vacuum.I haven't had many issues with it so far - there was one time when the water tank leaked a little but that was only one time. I bought a spares kit off eBay for $30 but haven't needed anything yet. It can get a little messy cleaning out the dust bin into the trash, but that's standard for a bagless vacuum. The app could be a little better, with the latest update making room names & mop/vac settings illegible from the map view.
The marketing materials indicate this robot can map multiple floors and then know which floor its on. This isn't strictly true. This only works if the robot is unable to see another floor when it maps. I have a house with split levels. The robot is able to see all the split levels because its lidar bounces from the walls so the floors are mapped. However, if you move the robot into one of the split levels, it is completely lost. It isn't an option to create another map for the split level because you can only create one map for the same area. When I contacted the company about this, they suggested using a ramp to get the robot in and out of the split level areas. When I contacted the company about this, they suggested using a ramp to get the robot in and out of the split level areas. Kludged to say the least plus one of my split levels is approximately 2 ft lower than the main floor and the robot is incapable of climbing a ramp at that angle. They advised that the R&D department might find a fix, but no guarantees or timeline. I am also disappointed with the running time which, in my experience, is no where near the 3 hours quoted. After trawling through other's experiences on Reddit, I discovered that keeping the mop and water tank attached causes too much drag on the carpet, meaning the robot's battery drains quickly. To clean just one floor of my house on one charge, I have to vacuum the carpets first, then attach the mop and water tank and clean the hard floors. Again, this is a very different experience to what I expected because the marketing materials indicate the robot can do it all in one cycle. The only reason that I've given this robot 3 stars is because it does clean well, but I paid more for this robot than competitor models because of the multi floor mapping and mop/vacuum 'in one go' options. Neither of which work in my experience.
After a stack of research I had my heart set on the S7 but just as I was about to purchase, Roborock came out with the S7 Max V. Best $$$ I've ever spent. Evrything has been a piece of cake from mapping my house to using the device to do what is an impeccable clean.Must admit - I purchased this robot vac because I am bone lazy. However... after 4 or 5 full cleans of my 3-bed house I've come to the realisation that I couldn't clean the place as good as this thing does even if I was inclined to get off my couch to clean. The quality of both the sucking and the mopping is A+++. It's quiet. So quiet in fact that I can easily keep working while it does it's stuff. I haven't tried it yet but I'm 100% sure that I could sleep through a deep clean if I was to set it going ... MoreAfter a stack of research I had my heart set on the S7 but just as I was about to purchase, Roborock came out with the S7 Max V. I haven't tried it yet but I'm 100% sure that I could sleep through a deep clean if I was to set it going during the night. My place is a mixture of hard flooring and 3 x carpeted bedrooms, all of which clean perfectly. The precision is amazing. I've never seen it slam into a wall or get stuck. Admitedly, I get as much off the floor as I can before firing it up (to speed the process up) but it navigates around table legs etc with ease. The camera with remote access is a bonus because I can freak my dog and cats out by talking to them during the day when I'm out.If I had to be picky I'd say that it would be good if the S7 would auto stop and let you know if the water reservoir was to go empty or auto return to the docking station if the dust bin gets full. It's really no big deal, I just set a 1 hour timer after it starts to remind me to refill. In all seriousness, do yourself a favour and buy one of these things. You wont regret it.
I would rated this as a very good product, but there are some improvements to make it excellent one.Tested on Following Floors and its ratings*Corrugated Ceramic Tiles : Vacuumed (3.5/5) / Mopping (4/5)*Smooth Marble Tile: Vacuumed (5/5) / Mopping (5/5)*Slim Carpet: Vacuumed (5/5)*Thick Carpet: Vacuumed (3/5)*Corrugated Hybrid Floorboard: Vacuumed (5/5) / Mopping 4/5)Issues to be Addressed1.There is no dustbin overflow detector, if you do not clean it you may find dust on the floor.2.Laser sensor dose not detect the close object, it navigates by simple bumping on the objects.3.With lot of effort, it climbs 2cm height steps. Worried about damaging the underbelly.4.You can not put any detergent into mopping liquid. Before you start mopping, mop pad must be socked.5.It take some effort to create a map of your floor with accurate zones (4 hrs). If you accidently delete it you have redo the painstaking task again. I wish that in future Roborock will provide a option to store the map in our Laptop.6.Theer are no spare cleaning brushes. I brought brushes and mopping pads from eBay. It works well7. After one year of working, I can see slightly degradation of the battery life. At the beginning did cleans 120m2 floor in single charge. Now Roborock needs interrupt its mission to get an additional charge.
