Roland TD-07KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit

I'm a 50(ish) old timer. Played acoustic drums since high school but this is my first experience with electronic drums. I like the compactness and the quiet of the mesh heads and plastic cymbals. Guess my only complaint so far is the lack of response of the high-hat or HH pedal. Other than that I have nothing to compare it to but seems good quality.

This kit sounds great. Also my son can play along to his music via bluetooth. It has coaching features for beginners also very quiet when using earphones. It has very heavy duty components and feels built to last. I am definitely pleased with this purchase. Just make sure you buy a kick pedal and throne. we have had it for about 4 months and no issues.

Definitely worth the price

I got the drum set because I wanted to start getting into the drums. I live with my mom so late night drum sessions are going to be inconvenient if I had an acoustic set. Luckily electric drum sets exist. You can hook this set up to a speaker but for sure if you want the best experience, invest in some headphones and you'll be set. Doesn't matter if it's earphone jack or Bluetooth, the set is compatible with both. Also, since it is electric, the amount of space it takes up in the room is great. It's pretty small and compact so it all fits perfectly into the corner.

Excellent kit

After having a Yamaha set for many years it was nice to get something new. The bonuses of this new kit are amazing. I love the bluetooth media connect its soooo much easier than having cables trailing everywhere.Being a lefty it was a pain to set up and even more so by certain key parts like the brain which are NOT compatible with the left orientation like yamaha ones are.For the few minor down sides though there are too many positives. This is definitely a kit i would recommend and its excellent value for money.

Good alternative to acoustic drums.

Got this drum kit as a compact & quiet replacement for basic acoustic drums. Was fortunate to try Roland at the store before lockdown, so knew a bit about how it compares and what to expect. This kit is rather pricey, but totally worth it in my opinion. Everything feels sturdy, responsive, and plays very intuitively. Sound matches nicely to what you would expect from an acoustic drum kit, with no need for any tuning. And this unit does allow for some extensive sound tuning - although not essential for beginner like me, still fun to play around with, and nice to have. For a double pedal best to up the sensitivity of kick pad slightly, other than that all works perfectly right from the box. Good things come in small packages!

This compact gem sure does fit the bill for small apartment spaces. Considering price and a means to kick start regular practice, it was worth overlooking some of the features in the more expensive models. After entering the Roland world of v-drums, I don't want to leave. The quality of the material used and the feel of the kit makes practice a pleasure. The module is simple yet gives enough choice to explore different kit sounds. Wish I'd bought it sooner!

Very happy with my first drum kit.The TD-07KV set up was straightforward to assemble and performs as advertised.It is compact enough to use in my small study, and easily folds together to provide access to desk workstation when required.

Review of Roland TD-07KV Electronic Drum Kit

Been using this for about a couple of weeks on, for about an hour a day. It's my first e drums kit so I don't have any other point of reference, but I'm absolutely loving the kit and having a fantastic time learning how to drum. Would certainly recommend, however the hi-hat pedal is just as bad, if not worse, than what people say it is. While I think that's pretty poor effort from Roland for a kit at this price, it doesn't ruin the experience enough to lower the 5*.

Compact and sturdy. My son tells me the sound and functionality is brilliant. He hasn’t stopped practicing and thankfully, being electronic, the house doesn’t shake and the neighbours don’t complain.
