Rolling Square inCharge is a versatile charging cable. I like this cable as it can be used from a USB-C or USB-A charging block and can charge a device with a Apple Lightening port or an USB-C port or a Micro USB port. It has built-in adapters on both ends to flip the connection type.It allows data transfer and ultra-fast charging up to 100W (USB-C to USB-C). I would prefer to have 60cm long also available, as 30cm is a bit too short to use on working table for example to charge your keyboard and other peripherals. I purchased white one, but it is not pure white or looks more greyish whit greenish stripes. Pity that there are couple of that seems like stains from something... Otherwise definitely nice cable. Interesting enough that some of the accessories do not want to get charge via USB C - USB C, but perfectly work as USB A - USB C connection. But I think that this is accessory being "picky". Also the cap that covers connectors is not snug enough and comes off easily. So maybe a room for improvement for company. Despite that all, I really like that product. Besides I do not see any close competitors to this with such ... MoreI would prefer to have 60cm long also available, as 30cm is a bit too short to use on working table for example to charge your keyboard and other peripherals. I was kind of skeptical if this based on the price. It’s a bit higher than most cables. The magnetic end clasp together nicely. The cable is wrapped very well. The hinges work well on the ends.Everything just clicks. It’s nice. It’s built so very well. Is it going to do something different than a cheaper cable? Probably not.But gosh, the quality is outstanding here. I love it and I would much rather pay more for something like this than something more flimsy that would end up as plastic trash. It’s pretty great. If you want to splurge a little bit the this is fantastic.

Wish could use 4.5, average of: - 5 for impeccable client service: they responded within hours to my claim and replaced the slightly visually damaged goods even if were fully functional - 4 for products: unfortunately, small portion on leather-like piece was slightly damaged upon reception and another one slightly damaged after I was forced to use too much strength to pull cap resulting in pulling a piece apart from the body when not supposed to. Products themselves are as per description/pictures, overall good quality/nice, magnets seem to be strong enough but time will tell. Good experience so far, recommended.
It's a single cable that does … everything. It actually does everything. It's flat braided for sturdiness and rated for 120W of power so it can charge anything you throw at it (with the appropriate adapter). The USB-C connectors are solid and the USB-A and Micro-UBS/Lightning adapters work perfectly without adding extra bulk. They do feel a little jingly when not attached, but I wouldn't call them "flimsy" -- plus they sent an extra Micro/Lightning adapter in case you ever do lose one. And can we just talk about that for a second? A lightning plug with a tiny Micro-USB port INSIDE IT. They don't show it on the website, probably to protect their IP, but damn it this a brilliant idea. They don't show it on the website, probably to protect their IP, but damn it this a brilliant idea. I don't have many devices that still charge by Micro, but the ones that do tend to be hardy and long-lived. It's great to have a cable that's backwards compatible AND future-proof. Other little touches that I love: • The two ends lock into a built-in dust cap • The two ends securely stick together WITH MAGNETS • Comes with a built-in cable wrap, inside a silicone storage tube. • Works with high-wattage GaN chargers for quick-charging. Reasons why this isn't an 11 star review: • Okay so the adapter ends do feel a little flimsy when you take them off. I'm constantly worried I'm going to break their little attachment arms. I actually did pop one off (they stick in your device stronger than they stick to the USB-C plug) but it pops right back on and, oh yeah, they send you a free spare just in case. • Shipping is a beast and for some reason USPS doesn't update their tracking info. Seriously, it'll be like a week before you get your tracking number and another 1-2 business weeks before the tracking updates (but you'll get it just a few days later and this isn't directly Rolling Square's fault, it's just weird). Seriously, just buy the cable.
This is a pretty unique charging cable, and has a lot of "pros":- Universal (the charger end can be adapted to be USB-C or USB-A, and the device end can use USB-C, micro-USB, or Lightning)- Magnetic attachment of the two ends for storage, along with a captive cap for the two cable ends- High power capability (100W USB PD for compatible devices)The clever bit to me was that the Lighting connector has an integrated micro-USB opening in the tip. I have not seen something like this before. It is a bit fiddly to plug it in, and as far as I can tell it is directional (if you plug it in upside down, it doesn't work). One bit of caution with this design, though...I would be careful to avoid putting any strain on the cable (and thus the micro-USB connector of your device) ... MoreThis is a pretty unique charging cable, and has a lot of "pros":- Universal (the charger end can be adapted to be USB-C or USB-A, and the device end can use USB-C, micro-USB, or Lightning)- Magnetic attachment of the two ends for storage, along with a captive cap for the two cable ends- High power capability (100W USB PD for compatible devices)The clever bit to me was that the Lighting connector has an integrated micro-USB opening in the tip. One bit of caution with this design, though...I would be careful to avoid putting any strain on the cable (and thus the micro-USB connector of your device) when using this with micro-USB devices. The cable only engages with the thin center "tongue" of the connector port with no additional support from the metal housing of the port. I don't know if I would trust the strength of that "tongue" if the cable was pulled in any direction other than straight out of the port. If I was charging a micro-USB device with this cable, I would plug it in and set it down on a table until charging was completed. I see this feature as an edge case usage for me, since I don't have a lot of micro-USB devices any more. The only other negative/"con" I see with this product is the length. It is very short - only about 30cm (12") long tip-to-tip (measuring from the tip of the lightning connector to the tip of the USB-A connector). It gets even shorter if you pull and flip those connectors out of the way to make it a USB-C to USB-C cable. In an ideal world, I would have liked to see this cable available in a 3-foot length to make it more versatile.I am giving this product 4 stars - deducting one star for the super-short length and the concerns about the micro-USB function.
I’ve been investing in projects on kickstarter since 2019 and then when lockdown commenced, went full throttle. My experience has been a mixed bag really but I would say 80% of the innovators on Kickstarter are excellent with a small handful just nailing it. Rolling Square are on of those awesome companies. Ignore the tech and lets focus on the experience. Great comm’s before during and after achieving their target investment. Any issues were thrashed out and they dealt with the negative hardliners head on and with respect. Part two is how they manage when the experience with their product isn’t what it should be. They just fix the issue. No hassle no blame-storming, just resolution. I’m keeping an eye on these guys and looking to support them on their journey. ... MoreI’ve been investing in projects on kickstarter since 2019 and then when lockdown commenced, went full throttle. Firstly, as noted, this cable is 1 ft in length, not 5 ft. You'll see that in the pictures and reviews. The description needs to be updated.Secondly, this cable is extremely well-built. Quality and durability is great. It is a great daily carry and travel kit cable. This cable will replace 3-4 other cables based on it's adaptability. Charging speeds and data transfer rates are great, and it is a perfect size for a pocket for easy access.Overall, a great product and value with two minor cons- the cable comes fairly rigid out-of-the-box. It will take some uses to break it in.- the end-cap cover can loosen up over time and not consistently secure to the end of the cable.
Received the chargers in short and long sizes. Pretty happy with the quality, they charge fast and seem durable. The only thing I would say is that when flipping out the USB c charger, it's a little bit awkward the way it moves and hangs, also a number of times I have charged a device either through the USB C or the micro USB and it appeared at first to be in, however an hour later I realised it wasn't properly in or had perhaps fallen out. This could be remedied with a more secure/smooth plug input. But the size, shape, cable sturdiness, fast charging, convenient protective caps are certainly interesting and worthy features. My other comment would be regarding the protective caps - it would be good if they were somehow integrated into the cable itself so that while ... MoreReceived the chargers in short and long sizes. Personally I don't know if I will use it much with my keys as I prefer my primary keys to be as small as possible, however perhaps if I had it attached to a set of work/non-primary keys this would function well.
Cable is solidly built with good wrapping around the cable itself. Connectors operate as described. I tried the iPhone cable connection and the USB-C connection to headsets and a tablet. Both connections charged the devices as expected. I should have realized that because of the "short" overall length (<12") it would be cumbersome to use the cable in "tight", not ideally accessible cable ports. It is cumbersome. I have another short cable connector that also can be difficult to hook up. Total length of 12" will necessitate a longer connector cable attached, to increase the total distance when needed. Just the actual cable length, less the operating ends, is only <7.5". Magnets keep the cable folded over nicely for storing and it includes a protective plastic cap to ... MoreCable is solidly built with good wrapping around the cable itself.
