This expansion is absolutely amazing!It adds 2 maps and a faction of higher reach, so you can even play 2 player games with the duchy instead of limiting to eyrie and marquise.The maps add new possible strategies that may turn the tides on your favour and the Corvid conspiracy is super fun to play, adding a bluff and negotiations/coercion to the game.

This expansion is really great. The moles are a great addition to militant factions like the cats and birds and open up a lot of possibilities for the faction combinations you can play. The crows introduce really fun bluffing mechanics that weren't previously prominent in the game. These guys just don't miss.

Loved Root and decided to purchase this expansion at first after reading reviews. Bought the kickstarter edition because I want the resin clearing markers and new card deck — good value! Like the original Root, the build quality and UX is so great. Looking forward for first game play.
If you like Root IT'S MORE ROOT! Because of how otters interact I'd suggest this expansion first if you are making a choice between the two. If you want more factions here they are. These factions are pretty straight forward compared to the other expansion. Highly recommend.

This is one of the few games where the excellent base game is made even better by the expansions! So much fun!
I love this game and this extension to the base game doesn't disappoint bringing in two new factions that really add value to the game. If you like the base game don't hesitate get this you won't be disappointed.
Havent played it yet as waiting to give it as a christmas present, but I love root so much that all i need is just "more Root".
