Royal Canin Adult Bulldog Dry Dog Food 12kg

So my bulldog wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box, so when it came to food he wasn’t picky. I mean he ate out of the garbage so there’s that... However we noticed he was having issues with his usual kibble, eating it too fast and bringing it back up. After doing some research we found this brand and liked how it had a ‘wave’ shaped kibble that was easy on their pallet and required more time to chew, thus no more throwing it up. He seemed to enjoy it, but he wouldn’t go crazy for it compared to his usual stuff, so we didn’t repurchase much. However, as a bulldog owner, it is a recommended food for sure!

When i switches to this by the vets recommendation( who by the way sells this product and fyi vets push products they sell because it males them money) my dog sleeps waaayyy more than she used to. She looks good but she has no energy. I switched her to orijen and she is a ball of energy again. When you eat high carb meal you feel sleepy too same with your dog.Pro: My dog loves it. But like most dogs she will eat anything. Also, kids love ice cream too doesn't mean its good for them.Very exspensive very rice balls and by products. When their other food brands that cost the same but have fresh whole meat product.

Breed Specific and backed by science.

English Bulldogs are prone to skin issues and a number of other digestive challenges. Our vet said to go with this breed specific food over the "make at home" or no carb diets that are so popular today. We have a very healthy bulldog and he has had no skin issues, his coat is nice and shiny and is weight is good. We have been feeding him this his whole life - and he is 2 years old now. (we started with the puppy version)

We've tried almost everything else including raw but something was always missing or there were drawbacks to every other option. Low grade kibble tastes great, terrible for their skin; raw diet was unbalanced and caused uncontrollable shedding; each similar kibble we tried held no interest with at least one of our dogs. Great for Bullies

This designed for Bullies and I am always sceptical about items which claim this. We have tried many others, including raw and vegetarian. This gives our Bullies enough to give them energy during the day without excess. Their coats are soft and healthy as are their teeth. They are all mobile , active and happy Bullies.I believe this gives just the right amount of everything they need.Guidelines on the bag for weight quantity, give them the amount to the weight you want them to be not the weight they are.Will continue with this and offer it up if asked by others.

Loved the puppy food, sadly the adult wasnt for us

I absolutely loved the bulldog puppy food for my cleft palate pup! It did everything as promised, shiny coat, healthy skin, well formed stools, and the special kibble shape was easy for her to manipulate as she figured out solid foods. When she was about a year old I switched her to the adult bulldog kibble. We still got the amazing skin and coat benefits, but with her being an unusually trim and active bully, the food simply did not keep up with her caloric needs. Since most bulldogs run (who am I kidding? Sprint) towards the chubby side; this food is on the middle to low end calorie-wise. We we're having to feed 5 cups a day simply to maintain her weight (and yes she has been tested for any metabolic diseases that could have caused her to be too thin) 5 cups was ... MoreI absolutely loved the bulldog puppy food for my cleft palate pup! Overall I would highly recommend this food to anyone with your typical lazy bulldog, but those of us with higher drive bullys may need to look elsewhere.

My dogs act as though it's a treat!!!

I have an English bulldog and golden retriever. Both eat this food though I know it is designed for English Bulldogs. Checked w vet and it's fine for the retriever. Both act as if it is a treat not a regular meal. They go crazy for it. I have noticed a positive change in Both of their coats and stinky ears. Crickets bald spots and red irritated belly are all cleared up. I hate how expensive it is but the positive change shows me it's doing its job and I can't go back. Definitely recommend for anyone w a bulldog who has skin issues.

Price too High

I have used Bulldog Adult for the past several years. Our Chinese Shar Pei loves this food. Her skin is beautiful and the food is easy for her to eat with her meat mouth. The only problem I have encountered recently is the uptick in price. The 30lb bag went up over $15 in the past several month. I recently switched to a more affordable alternative. I wish Royal Canin would over coupons or a loyalty program. Until that happens I will no longer be purchasing their products.

So Much Better For My English Bulldog

We had our rescued English bulldog on Wainwrights as its what she was used to, only for her to constantly be hungry all the time and upset tummies nearly everyday. We swapped her to this and we have no more rumbling tummies, she's less windy, and we have no more upset tummies. Her skin seems more healthier and she seems more content. I would definitely recommend to any owner looking to have the best food for the bulldog!

disappointed

I use to use this on my pups . Until they started getting funky smell ear and skin problems . The top ingredients in this food is rice and oats more rice and added yeast . Bulldogs are famous for having yeast infections and yeast feeds on carbohydrates. If you bulldog has skin or ear problems its probably a yeast infection. Dont feed the yeast (Even the protein is chicken by product pork meal and chicken fat not the best choice .
