Available in both a wet and dry formula, this complete meal for adult cats is rich in protein and contains everything your pet needs for a healthy life. A combination of minerals help maintain a functioning urinary tract, while amino acids keep their eyes, heart and coat on top form. Key benefits complete balanced meal for adult cats blend of minerals to keep the urinary tract healthy amino acids for a strong heart and bright eyes dietary fibres keep excess hair moving through the gut ‘intense anti-hairball complex’ is twice as effective at preventing hairballs than regular food When to use it If your cat is a long-haired breed, they may be more prone to hairballs than short-haired pets. Look out for symptoms like excessive coughing, retching and disinterest in food. It’s especially likely that your cat will suffer from this nuisance when moulting, as more fur gets swallowed than usual. The insoluble fibres in Royal Canin Hairball Care prevent the formation of hairballs by keeping the excess hair moving through the gut to be passed naturally. The minerals and vitamins in this formula are also effective in supporting your pet’s urinary system, heart function and overall health well into later life.

These hairball sachets with gravy are a staple in my sister's house for feeding her 2 beautiful fur babies. They especially love the gravy which usually get locked off first, then they eat the chicken pieces.

My 12 year old cat has stopped sicking up fur balls which she was doing on a daily basis. This product started working 3 weeks after using it. I am very pleased with the product plus the dry cat fur ball they also sell.

More expensive than the feed I normally get. The cat barely ate any of it, even if I refused to give her anything else for a day or two. Ended up giving it away to a neighbour for their cat to try.

My 12 year old ragdoll loved the gravy part of this but I couldn't get her to eat the meat without hand feeding it to her. So unfortunately I stopped after one sachet, before I was able to see how well it worked. I'm sure it works great and is a good product. I just struggled to get my cat to eat all of it because of her strange eating habits.
My cat (which is not a fussy eater) would not eat this stuff which is clearly highly processed to the point that you cannot tell what is in it. I have become more and more sceptical about Royal Canin food, you cannot see the true ingredients and nobody ever checks, so what is in this stuff is anyone's guess. All I know is that there is a big company behind these foods that will naturally continue to try to reduce their costs and increase their profits within the law. Without any pet-food labelling laws or any independent government agency checking that the ingredients are actually what is claimed on the packet, you as a consumer are left to judge based what your eyes can see and what your cat tries to tell you. My cat is a short hair but she also grooms my medium hair and she then throws up. Since switching to this food along with biscuits in the same range we have now gone a couple of months without incident. She loves the taste ( she grew up on royal canin kitten) it was easy to switch her from the grainfree she was on as an adult back to royal canin. Her coat isn't quite as shiny as it was on grain free, but she is happy and healthy.
I bought this product because one of my cats is a Ragdoll and I felt it was important for his health to use a quality food. Both cats eat it majority of the time but have their days where they will not. Still a good product and happy to continue using it.
My 5 yo long-haired cat had been quite constipated and struggling to throw up hairballs. As she was on premium Ziwipeak & Black Hawk all her life, I didn’t think to change her food until a visit from the vet. She suggested this and Digestive care (all wet foods), and my kitty has been super healthy ever since!!
I waited to see if this would work but I couldn't get either of our cats to eat it. Point blank refusal! Not sure why. A terrible waste of money.
My cat has this intermittently. She brought up a fur ball during the night a short while ago and I was surprised how well the fur ball had formed and she hadn't been sick with it.
