I have used this particular Dry Dog Food for many years until my 2 Mini Schnauzers were young adults. Now I have a senior & a middle age(1 as a 10 yr old & a 8 yr old),and being a member of my Dog Club,I have changed brand to a grain free dry food. My club has a agreement with Black Hawk for a number of years to be our sponsor. Unfortunately Royal Canin didn't respond to our emails to be our next sponsor.

I have tried to explain to her the concepts of tastiness, since my opinion would not be valid, even if I was to have a nibble, but she just will not let on. Judging by some of the things she has eaten in the agricultural fields roundabout it could be similar to sheep droppings. Further observations needed, perhaps a blind tasting experiment.

My dog loves these biscuits but they cause staining on her white beard. I used to buy these and forgot that it stained. Such a shame as I trust the brand and my dog loves them more than others.

This is a great dry food for my two schnauzers, unfortunately its Large is only in 7.5kg and is $104.00. Comparing to Meals4Mutts 20kg at $138.00.
My mini schnauzer loves these, they are the main component to his diet. He has a healthy glossy coat and maintains a healthy weight.
The time in transit was excessive although there was a public holiday. Bag received was punctured and.as.a.result had lost freshness. Dont know how long it had been punctured. Our dog is not.really excited about this batch. I didnt have the energy to argue the point so didnt make contact with company. Not sure if i will use them again. Previous experience with company has been good though.
I have been using this dry dog food on my youngest dog. Very good quality and taste. Would like to see another bag for elderly medium sized Mini Schnauzer. I have 2 Mini Schnauzers which are 2 different sizes. One is a true Mini & the other one is about 7cms taller (in the shoulder). My oldest one is now over 7 years old & my youngest us about 5 yrs old. They are both like sisters but from 2 different areas of breeders. My youngest one,is now fit & healthy with very little fat on her body. The oldest one (they're both neutered)is overweight. We love going for walks nearly every day.
Great food. Dogs enjoy it. Because of the size of the biscuits we use the food for treats as well. No need to buy other treats. We know it is a good food so using it for treats is easy. Their coats are always soft. And easy to groom.
Im so glad I found this for my schnauzers! My 16 year old boy is just thriving on it! Hes healthier, his movement is on point and I hope it helps to keep him going for many more years to come. Its a shame the bags are not bigger.
Currently on the last day of mixing old food with new royal canin. There are no complaints, bowl is empty today after ratio of 1:4 (old:new). My mini schnauzer is super fussy and after going through the mail order tailored food, I think we've hit the right food finally!
