Royal Canin Sensory Taste Gravy Wet Cat Food 12 x 85g
Although your cat’s sense of taste isn’t the strongest due to having fewer taste buds it is nevertheless uniquely specialized. They are particularly perceptive of subtle food flavours especially umami. Umami is often described as a broth-like or savoury taste that is found especially in meats. Amino acids are critical to obtaining an umami flavour which is independent of the other four traditional basic tastes — sweet sour salty and bitter. Because of their carnivorous predisposition cats are sensitive to the meaty flavours associated with umami. Royal Canin’s Sensory Taste formulas are crafted with a chicken taste characterized by toasted meaty sulfurous and caramelized hints that will stimulate your cat’s unique sense of taste.

I have two kittys (one a FIP survivor) who have been raised on Royal Canin - from Baby, Kitten, Instictive & most recently Urinary (gravy option preferred) with their dry food offerings of same. Lately though they have become a little less enthusiastic with their wet food. I've been looking for an additional option to provide more variety that still provides a quality, nutritious option, particularly for my FIP Warrior (survivor) to keep a healthy immune system. I purchased 12 pouches of this and WOW didn't they love it. Just wish I'd bought more as now it's Sold Out! If you want a good quality food to alternate with their usual food then give this a go!

It *slays* me that the sachet has a Burmilla on it (my 2 fussy girls are Burmillas...Royal Canin *knows* hahaha). They're both very small and prone to underweight, with one particularly a bit bony. And both of them reject most wet/dry food, so getting them to eat is very difficult. I'm so pleased the Sensory range is now in wet food, as kidney issues are endemic in this breed (I do have a water fountain which they use, but want to balance their diet 50/50 kibbles/wet food to be sure). It's worth a shot for those with fuss-pot cats. Try one sachet to begin with, as it is pricey - and try each texture and range (i.e.; smell, taste etc.) to see if there's a preference. Sometimes you need patience with your little ones :))

I have two very fussy cats who I struggle to find wet food for. I've tried every brand under the sun, but nothing has kept their interest more than 1-2 feedings. After trying Royal Canin Sensory Wet, they are absolutely hooked! Both of my cats licked their bowls clean and are very happy with the feed, so much so that it's become our new daily for them because they won't eat anything else. I definitely recommend this product to cat owners everywhere - it's quality food that you can feed your pets that is absolutely worth the price.

Both my male cats absolutely wolfed this food down when it was served! I have one cat who will eat anything, but the other guy is much more fussy. I was very excited to see him eager to try something new, so when he ate it quickly, I knew we were onto a winner! The size of the pouch is a good serve for us (they get dry food too). The texture looks appealing - nice and chunky. My recommendation for the packaging would be a tin or something recyclable, as it is a lot of plastic waste everyday. Otherwise, love the product and we will be buying it again!
One of my cats has a sensitive digestive system so I was a little worried to try her on something different. I was pleasantly surprised and there were no issues when she has royal canin. It kept our cats bowel movement solid. I usually cannot stand the smell of cat food and have to get my husband to feed our cats but I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to tolerate the smell of this. My cat really loves the taste. I will definitely be buying more of this in the future
My cat is pretty fussy as a lot are and usually will not touch a gravy food and if he ever does he licks the gravy and won’t eat the meat. . Surprisingly he loved this. I gave him a couple of teaspoons with his normal food to test it out and he ate this first and ignored the rest. He was even asking for more and trying to get the food out of my hand. I would highly recommend to any cat owner even if they have a fussy cat. He likes all 3 flavours and I will definitely buy again
I was struggling to get my cat onto a healthy product like Royal Canin . My cat is so fussy, but the Sensory Taste product is unbelievable. She likes it so much , its like she is getting a treat each time. Thanking the staff at Pet Wharehouse Osborne Park for the advice to try this product.
It was a great portion size and the meat was in well sized pieces. Upon opening I noticed that the smell was not overpowering or unpleasant, which is a huge bonus. The meal looked high quality and my cat licked the food bowl clean, which makes it a winner in my books! Royal Canin Sensory ticks all the boxes and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again and recommend to others. I would like to see the different varieties more clearly distinguished though!
I cannot believe it, the boy actually adores something for a change! I know he can tell the time because he always speaks VERY loudly at the same time every night and he knows in which order this particular pouch is in. 4th in case you're wondering and he goes bat crazy. Sensory Feel Jelly, so far, is his fave by a mile, next is Sensory Taste Gravy but yet to try the rest. I'm thinking that the jelly varieties are the winners.
My cat looked interested at first and seemed to only lick the jelly. She left all the meat in the bowl and meowed. She has never had royal canin food and is a bit fussy. My mums cats were the same. The portion size is good, and was easy to squeeze out of packet. Just a shame the cat didn’t enjoy it. I found the back of the packaging a bit overwhelming but the serving guide was easy to see. The green colour colour on smell on white was hard to read.
