Recommended this food for our elderly golden retriever and after two weeks went back for a blood test to see if it had improved her kidney functions. It had, the readings were better than before and we were all happy, even the dog. Thank you.

When I found out my lovely boy has renal problems I was devastated and the vet said he might not adjust to a new food. However he is loving this, he has always had a good dry food so I also order the dry and mix them together. I am keeping an eye on my boy and he is retaining his weight.

Our jack Russel only have a few renal options to continue his life a little longer and this made it for him. His happy for food again.

Well I don’t fancy it but Blondie loves it! Just has another urine test done and there’s been a definite improvement with less protein in the sample. So somethings working!
Our ex rescue Jack Russell is of an indeterminate age probably 14/15, but recently was diagnosed with kidney disease. He had been poorly, for a while, no energy, lost control of his bladder and bowels, staggered around, we were seriously considering putting him to sleep as it was no life for him. Our Vets checked him out and suggested we change his diet to a renal speciality. Did research and tried Royal Canin, not just because of the feedback but of its constitution and origins. Result! He has plenty of energy, he walks normally so we can have short walks again, he loves the food, he has control over his bladder and bowels, and is almost normal for an aged dog. This is the required food for the renal condition of our dog. The cost is a fraction of the price charged by local veterinary practices.
My dog misses her treat so I soak some of the dried food in water. Flatten it in a baking tray and cook in low oven to dry. When cold break into biscuits. She loves them. Sometimes I and follows of the tinned food on top to vary the taste. Product cheaper than the vets.
