This was recommended by our vet to help with our Betty's sensitive tummy while undergoing treatment for an illness. She loves it, and it works. This is now part of her regular low fat diet where we mix the dry food with a small portion of cooked low fat food to give her variety. I recommend it especially for older larger dogs. Betty is a Rottweiler.

I have a Staffy who has a sensitive tummy and is a fussy eater especially when it comes to dry food. The vet advised me to try her on this and wow I can't believe the difference in her. She doesn't eat grass like she used to every day and she has more energy. It's expensive but it's worth it in the end and hopefully less vet bills!!!!

Normally I'm pretty keen for high quality foods and we always spend more on our dogs than ourselves. However this food was expensive but didn't provide results. Their poos became hard and white and they struggled. We were recommended this food after a foreign body incident where one of our dogs ended up in the emergency room. Would of been better to keep feeding shredded chicken and rice for longer. After two weeks on this food still having the same issues. Plenty of water provided always.

After a bout of pancreatitis I trialled my dog on a competing brands food. While she was fine on that food, we changed to Royal Canin due to a shortage of the other brand. We have stayed with Royal Canin as my dog likes it, her pancreas and liver are as healthy as they can be and her stools seem much better on the Royal Canin.
My dog has always had tummy problems and often was sick first thing in the morning bringing up bile, then refusing to each for rest of the day and sometimes for a few days after. Since having this gastrointestinal food I can't believe the difference. No more being sick in the morning. Its dearer than my old dry food but this is very reasonable price and a lot cheaper than local vet and also bit cheaper than PetsAtHome. Its also Low Fat which is an added bonus. She also never leaves any of her dry food anymore. I give ut to her with chicken or pate type wet food
My beautiful 8 year old rescue jug has hepatitis. Her gut health is very poor. So vet advised I use this food.. in the weeks she’s been on it she has not vomitted. 👏👏👏 My border collie 9 years and pug 4 years are also on it. Vet said that’s perfectly fine. Very happy. I combine this with white rain, gastro wet and carrots as treats. I never give my dogs store bought treats.
Our staf has recently been diagnosed with suspected IBD after weeks of the runs, even on chicken and rice. Was reccomended this, sceptically bought it (sold my liver to do so haha) and we are 1 week in to normal, solid poo's. My lawn, garden and all of our noses are incredibly grateful. Although pup does seem hungry ALL the time.
I rate this high because of the health issues my dog has and Royal Canin Low GI both dry and tinned keeps her out of trouble. I have tried another brand but it caused problems. Some variety in flavours would be good though, it is terribly boring year after year, though she eats it no problems.
6 years ago Our GSP had an operation for Pyloric Stenosis since he could not hold down his food. The operation was successful but ever since then we have to be careful what he eats. He does well on the gastro intestinal dry food since it is easy to digest. We tend to soak it in water a few hours before he eats and he has three cups a day. At the age of nearly 13 he still enjoys walking a few Km in the morning providing it is below 20c.
This dog food was recommended to me by my vet as my dog had extreemly bad flatulence. He is also on medication that can cause weight gain. As it is 7% fat he can actually eat more and not gain weight. His flatulence problem has almost dissapeared. It is a double winner for me and Petcircle has it at such a good price.
