BEAUTIFUL.The colors are white and light blue. The plates are lighter that I expected. We are a busy family with teenagers and these plates work great! I like that the smaller plates are a nice size to even use for supper when you aren't too hungry. :-) Bowls are very deep. Mugs are also quite deep with a nice wide handle. Packaging was great. Shipping was great. Better than expected!

When I saw these online, I was really excited about them. They looked really unique and pretty. The coloring is totally off. When you see them online, you expect a slight color difference or at least maybe a texture difference, but no. Nothing at all. Like another reviewer said, these are SOLID white. If you look really closely you can see a paint line where it looks like they basically just painted another layer for the "design." But it's basically the same exact paint or glaze. So instead of looking really nice (like they look online), they end up just looking crappily made. Like there was a mistake in the glazing or something. Not cute. Really disappointed. I ordered two for a set of 8 in total. The picture on the box looks just like the picture on the website, a pretty but popping blue/gray. The dishes themselves barely resemble the image on the box or the website. The blue is so muted that in dim light the dishes just look light gray. I ordered them awhile ago so I don't know that I can exchange them even though I've only just opened them today. The quality though, is really nice. Bummed about the misrepresentation though.
Love the subtle color and large size. It's a pale blue that is just a bit of color without being overwhelming. Had these dishes for over a year and only 1 chipped plate from the dishwasher. I love the large size of these plates. Its a big rim that keeps gravy and sauces in the center. I also was looking for large bowls that can hold pasta and ramen. These large bowls are smaller than asian noodle bowls but bigger than American cereal bowls.
Great quality. The glazing/stripe is a bit too subtle on the white set but still nice. Only other complaint is the size. Salad plates could almost be dinner plates and dinner plates are huge. (Edges JUST fit/hit door on standard cupboard) if they were both a half to one-inch smaller they would be perfect.
Did my research to find porcelain dinnerware that was not made in China. Spent some extra money (or so I thought) to purchase dishes that were not made in China. When I was in the store, I noticed that the back of the dishes read "England". When I received the dinnerware in the mail (they were out of stock in store), I found a sticker on the back of each piece that read "Made in China". Once the sticker is removed, you would have no idea this stuff is made in China. From experience, I know this stuff does not last. What a shame. Pfaltzgraff did the same thing and now their stuff is substandard....nothing like it used to be. Will be returning the dinnerware tomorrow and finding something that is worth my money.
Quality. Well made with interesting patterns. Cups are a delight to drink tea. Bowls are deep and good for larger deserts or soups.
We got these after we got a new house. These are great and they are so beautiful. Dishwasher and microwave safe. they are heavy so they have yet to shatter or even crack. The cups and bowls are a good size. They are not small or shallow. Over all I'm pleased with my set and I'm very picky with dishes. I don't like small plates or bows. But these are solid and durable and a great size. Your going to be happy with these.
fits amazingly well with my Pacific blue set and the rest of my 1815 range of colours to mix and match and the plates and bowls are the perfect size for breakfast lunch and dinner
