Bought this recently and it has been performing very well. The blender has been able to handle everything I have needed it for and the motor produces very little heat with use. Very simple to operate with just two speed buttons. Overall quality feels great - nothing is loose or threatening to come apart and all pieces click together nicely. Most importantly, all pieces are very easy to clean!

I received this as a gift about 6 weeks ago. It is a great addition to my kitchen. Beating cake and pikelet mixture, blending smoothies and smoothing soups. Don’t know what I did with out it. It is so easy to clean too.

I got this for Christmas and used it only a handful of times. The connection of the blender stick has never felt great. Today after using it for a few minutes it started to make a strange sound and now the plastic part is as all mangled. I took another one back already to BigW as the blender stick part was rusting. I am so angry about how crap this thing is. Don't waste your time or money. Stay clear of this product.
Absolute rip off !Tried contacting Russell Hobbs with no response !The blade attachment top just fell off, and I nees this product for pureeing foods for feeding needs. Not happy at.Have always purchased Russell Hobbs products, as I did love them, but no more.Customer Service has alot to be answered for.Sure I could return it, but by the time I pay pistage or fuel to get to the closet place for replacement or repair, to argue to get it replaced not worth my time or money.
Had the worst experience with this one, in just a few uses the stick part of the blender started falling apart, the blade keeps dropping down, I had to use it by removing the plastic top and directly holding the stick by hand to the machine and even that started giving problems and int he end all he threads were worned out in the machine, so the motor is ok but it's still not usable anymore, not with any other attachments. Sent a email to them and never received any response.
Bought this 18 months ago for my mum and she loves it. Doesn't use it all that often, but saves her arm when whipping cream and making soups.However, the mixer part has broken with the silicone and metal plate coming loose while making her latest batch of soup so now she can no longer safely use it as the metal is sitting near the blade :(
I purchased this stick blender a little while ago and on the second use the blending arm attachment broke. The silver part falls down from the black part it is attached to, I'd have to hold it in place. Overtime the blade started to actually come down out of the attachment as well. When it broke the first time I don't think I could take it back as it fell just outside of the product return window and also it was completely out of my way. I'd just hold the attachment in place. Usually I am a fan of Russell Hobbs products but I'm very disappointed at the terrible quality and functionality of this product. I've since chucked it out.
Brought this on a whim and what a waste of money. Managed to get two uses out of it before everything broke. Nothing attaches anymore which makes the product useless. Can't seem to get in contact with customer service either. I want my money back! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
I’m very happy with this product. It has done everything that I’ve wanted and little effort needed to connect attachments. The varied speeds allow me to control what I’m mixing, blending, whisking and purée. It’s not heavy to use easy to clean and is compact enough for storage in a draw and in a caravan cupboard. Yes I do take it away with me. It’s a great gadget
