Russell Hobbs Addison Digital Kettle - Black RHK510BLK

I was given this product for Christmas and like a previous review I now find the writing just wiping off. For its price it is extremely disappointing. Your previous advice was to keep the kettle away from any oil or grease which is extremely difficult when you want the item to be placed on a kitchen bench. No matter where in the kitchen it may be there is the possibility that a film of oil or grease needs to be wiped off it. I would not recommend to anyone to purchase this item.

Fast and hot boil

I tried all settings and found the 95 degree setting the best and easily the most drinkable. The kettle isn’t loud and gives a beep to let you know when it has completely boiled. It also beeps when you remove from the base and replace to the base. With the sleek look and fast boil, it’s one of the better kettles I’ve had. I really enjoy the boiling options, the choice is easy and control over the temperature is even better. I even used the kettle for my cooking this week knowing it wasn’t going to get too hot at the 70 degree mark for what I needed. Just brilliant!!!

Great Expectations.....

I bought this Kettle and matching toaster during covid-19 lockdown in 2021. We've had the set for 12 mths. The kettle is great, we like the design, the functions etc. The only thing is the printed temp texts have literally just wiped off, and in under just a few months it showed deterioration so much so I avoid wiping it clean. I emailed RH in 2021 & was told not to use it in my KITCHEN! It's a kettle! Where else should I use it? Apparently the cooking oil residue can effect the print. Great looking multi function heat Kettle

Thank you Home Tester Club for this amazing Russell Hobbs Addison Kettle in Matt Black . The kettle was well packaged . Upon opening up the package the overall look of the product was high quality . A beautiful Matt black finish that is perfectly suited to any decor . The kettle itself has a platform that it sits on with multi function heat options that you are able to choose for your different types of drinks . The options light up in a blue colour and once you press your option the other options turn off and your selected option remains lit . The kettle is light weight to hold and very quiet when it’s on the boil . I absolutely love it ! I highly recommend this beautiful kettle .

Keep warm function = heaven!

Keep warm function is heaven! I have 2 kids so often in the morning I boil the kettle but have to reboil 2-3 times as I get distracted getting the kids ready. Not now! The water remains warm. Very handy. Not so keen on the beeps. Would be good to have a mute option. My husband is a shift worker so having that muted would be one less noise to allow him to sleep but that probably wouldn’t bother most. Love the colour as it suits other appliances I have in the kitchen. The blue lighting around the buttons makes the kettle look very sleek. I only really used the coffee and green tea 70 degree button. My 5 year old enjoys a chai so serving him water at a lower temperature was extremely helpful.

LOVE this Kettle!

This is a sexy appliance! It looks amazing (especially when matched with the Russell Hobbs Matt black toaster) and has awesome functionality!I really love the options of different temperatures for different teas and coffee as well as keep warm function.It’s super quiet and reaches the chosen temperature quickly. Also love that it has a reusable water filter that can be cleaned in the sink.The handle is big enough for the largest of hands and has a nice ergonomic feel even when full.Awesome kettle - I just love it!

Russell Hobbs Addison Kettle Matte Black

I love the Russell Hobbs Addison Kettle Matte Black because it is the state-of-the-art kettle that has so many useful features. Not only is Russell Hobbs Addison Kettle very easy to use, it also looks beautiful and modern. The coolest feature for me is the fact that I can select from 5 variable temperature settings: Green Tea 70°C, White Tea 80°C, Oolong Tea 90°C, Coffee 95°C, Black Tea 100°C and enjoy a perfect cuppa any time of the day. The keep warm function is also a great addition so I don't have to boil the water again if I want to make another drink a short time later. Great for saving electricity costs especially in winter when my family and I tend to drink lots of tea and coffee throughout the day.

Russell Hobbs Kettle

At first I was unsure with all the temperature choices but after having tried them all I am now quite happy with the kettle and its performance. The water indicator on the front is great and easy to read, initially I didn't understand why it needed the lighted buttons but have noticed when using the kettle and I have pushed the wrong button the light makes me re-look and then I can change the temperature. I don't personally like the push button plastic lid and I find when the kettle is at maximum fill level and cooking on highest temperature level it really bubbles so caution is needed. Overall I would recommend this kettle, especially if you are a tea drinker.

Time Saving Appliance

I first purchased my Addison Digital Kettle a few years ago. Love the time saving of not having to wait for the kettle to boil with it's keep hot selection. This also helps to keep my Electricity Bill lower due to not having to constantly boiling the kettle. The matt black fits into my kitchen decor and has a pleasing appearance. This is my go to kettle of choice.
