My old Russell Hobbs kettle the lid opened with a button spring but soon broke it boils super quick too slightly noisy but soon over love it best kettle yet definitely recommend

Great. Was looking for a plastic free kettle. This one isn't, but almost, if you remove the filter and level measure. Boils quickly. It is a bit loud and the sides get hot as it's not double walled. But for the price it's exactly what I was looking for.

The 1 / 2/ 3 cup indicators are useful but I'd prefer to be able to see amounts from the outside. Also, prefer flip-up lids rather than this removeable one. That doesn't stop it from its main purpose though - it boils water efficiently. Seems good choice from the lower-priced range.

Great value, lovely kettle in near new condition. Highly polished, boils quickly and quietly, and pours very nicely.
I bought this to replace a larger one of the same brand that had leaked where the water level gauge was. I wanted polished silver of same make, with no level gauge, taller slimmer kettle to take up less space on the worktop. This fitted that perfectly at the right price. Delivered quickly.
The kettle is very wobbly on its stand and doesnt sit upright, did they send me the wrong base or is this just a rubbish design, not sure? apart from that it seems to work okay.
This kettle could be so much better with just a small change, it is attractive and fits in with the other appliances we have, it is fast, it is not the quietest but that is due to the power and speed. The spout pores well and has a lime filterThe change I would make is to the lid it is very hard to remove for filling as the grip is straight and smooth.If the grip was a little con caved and or the sides could be textured for ease of removing.
This is the third such kettle we've had - they tend to last 2-3 years max, but they're good while they're going! Like the fact that they're all metal, the element is out of sight, and it's fast boiling. This particular kettle was fairly quiet when we first got it but a week or so later you can't carry on a conversation if you're standing near it when it's boiling - deafening!
Basic, but better than the cheaper models. However, a little concerned tbe steam comes up from around the lid when wayer is boiling. Its fine for adults if your aware of it..but advise be caerful of a child using it. It has not posed a problem, now l know. I smply wait for the ketyle to finish boiling.
This is what l wanted in a kettle because I wanted one that boils quickly so ll dont have to stand around watching it boil. The handle is great for us because both myself and my hubby have problems with our hands. So if you need a quick boil kettle this is the one.
