Unable to rate this kettle. We still have to boil water in a saucepan to make tea! There has been no satisfactory means to communicate the non-receipt of the item to anyone. All I get in response is a $10 discount off a purchase of more than $50 as if I will bother! Suggest a name change to The Bad Guys! Kindly delete the one star rated as I had no choice, otherwise this would not submit.

I bought it for its colour initially, although I knew from past experience, it was a reliable make. I love the colour, it sits out in my kitchen against a white wall and looks beautiful. I have had it for three months of obviously constant use and no surprises to find it is totally reliable. I have used Russel Hobbs all my life and never ever been disappointed, this kettle is no exception. I know it is only a kettle after all, but I absolutely love it!

I love my Russell Hobbs kettle. I had an old one that lasted for years, but it eventually died and I had to get a new one. My new Russell Hobbs is very impressive in style and functionality, easy to fill, easy to pour, and looks very striking on my kitchen bench.
We are very proud of our new Russell Legacy Kettle. The very contemporary 'Elderberry' colour and the stylish fish of this kettle in addition to our of the same brand and colour has provided a beautiful modern revamp to our kitchen. The kettle comes with a generously large handle to get a good grip and it's high enough avoid scolding your hand from the hot steam when you remove the lid. The spout is also generous and shaped such that you came confidently pour the contents without worrying about spills. One amazing thing we have noticed is that this kettle is relatively quiet and very noticeable in the middle the night I'm brewing a late cuppa while others are soundly asleep. Extremely happy with our purchase.
Bought it more for the looks that anything. Difficult to fill as level hard to estimate when holding it. Dont want it spurting everywhere dangerously. Wouldnt buy it again as it drives me up the wall.
The kettle does its job well. I bought it to give my kitchen a Hampton style and it did match the theme. Its definitely well made and looks like will last long. Bit on the heavier side. I found that if we tip over too much it tends to spill which i think is normal given the pop off lid. Given the handle at top might be difficult to clean, but I find all kettles not so easy to clean. However if we use baking soda and boiled water, it keeps clean.
I love my kettle. I have always purchase russell hobbs, I brought this as I loved the colour. Its good quality, price was cheap and does what it needs to do. Boil water. It looks great in my white kitchen on display. Wish i'de brought matching toaster to.
Previously had a Morphy Richards which has a similar shape to the Russell Hobbs kettle. The RH kettle is more lightweight and noisier than the MR but considering how much cheaper it is I'm happy with it. It looks good on the bench and it does the job. Seems like good value especially if it last as long as my previous MR kettle.
For Me the kettle is pretty quick in boiling and is on every hour or so. Ha! The toaster is pretty smart too. Like my toast with a slight crunch and this is perfect for ME! So far have no problems with these products Russell Hobbs is a good brand anyway. Enjoy whoever buys.
