I bought this to match a kettle in the same range. Looks great and works well. It’s designed for one side to be used for toasting just two slices, and the right side can only be used if toasting four slices. This takes a bit of getting used to, as I expected to be able to use either side at any time. This is fine though. Overall it’s a good product that looks nice too. Good size, fits well in my little kitchen. Would be better if it could fit slightly larger slices of bread in it, as sometimes I have to turn the normal supermarket bread upside down halfway through toasting!

Absolutely love this toaster, it's a great size doesn't take up to much space. It has so many amazing qualities and features that make it easy to use, fast and efficient. The various temperature settings means you can alter to achieve the perfect colour of desired toast. Makes cooking breakfast for the family quick and easy as the 4 slice is so much better for bigger families. It has a defrost button and a variety of settings to make life easier. The removable crumb tray is perfect for easy access to cleaning. Non slip feet means it sits perfect on the worktop aswell. It's so shiny and the colour means it goes with any decor. This toaster has eased my hectic mornings . We are a family of six and the four toasts at a time save lots of time . Its got 5 settings . We generally like medium brown so setting three is perfect for us. Its also got a wonderful lift and look feature where one can check the progress of toast without having to repeat the process again . I can toast thick slices as well without having to worry if they would fit in or not . Its got cancel option as well to prevent toast from burning . Also the reheat option and defrost feature is great as well. This is one of the best and smart appliances I have ever used . Extremely happy with my toaster . Oh yes , forgot to mention that it looks so amazing in my kitchen. Can’t recommend enough.

I have the inspire 4 slot toaster in white. It is very classy looking and i love the neon blue light too. I have found the toaster to work well with brwad, hot cross muns, muffins and teacakes. Everything seems to fit in the generous sized slots well which is brilliant because my last toaster used to struggle with teacakes etc and they would get stuck. I dont see the issue with only being able to use the back levers if the front slots are being used as i only use those if the front is being used anyway. So not an issue at all for me. The toaster has 5 settings so i can have my tost as light or dark as i want. The only slight issue is that toast takes slightly longer than my last toaster, but again not a real problem. Unfortunately the toaster has 2 problems that make be seriously regret my purchase.The first I've found is a bizarre issue that seems quite common in toasters... it's too small for a standard sized piece of bread! I mean how does that even happen when designing a device specifically to toast bread! We use Warburtons Toastie and you have to turn it over half way through if you don't want one end to be completely untoasted.The second issue is the bigger problem. It is soooo slow! I already had a 2-slice toaster which was coming to the end of its life, so getting this 4-slice toaster from Russell Hobbs was amazing. It looks so good on the kitchen counter and it’s a lot easier to feed kids now because I can toast more bread at a time! It also has a defrost function which is brilliant for me, because we keep the bread in the freezer as we don’t eat it that often. Another function which is awesome is the reheat option. After you’ve toasted your bread, you can pop it in again (after you e got distracted by kids, dogs, or anything else…) to reheat it without burning it! All in all a great toaster from Russell Hobbs!
I have now owned 2 inspire 4 slice toasters and both have failed after less than 3 years. The first I bought in April 2019 and it failed (electrically blew the household fuse) in June 2020. Because I didn't keep my original receipt Russell and Hobbs would not honour the 2 year guarantee. I was offered a discount on a similar model and bought the second toaster in June 2020. The second toaster has now blown another fuse and as it is outside the 2 year guarantee period I do not expect any help from Russell and Hobbs. That is two Russell and Hobbs 4 slice Inspire toasters that have failed inside 32 months. My previous toaster to the Russell and Hobbs toasters lasted nearly 20 years. My advice is to look at other more reliable brands before considering Russell and Hobbs.
This toaster is amazing. The exterior is stylish, sleek and modern in pure white which goes well in any kitchen theme. Its easy to keep clean, just a quick rub down on the sides. It has duel crumb trays which is really handy and they don't spill all over which is great! The toaster itself has 3 function buttons and the toast setting at the bottom. We found the toast setting to be the best, We like our toast darker and find 5 is perfect! Great toaster from a great brand!
I love everything about this toaster! From its stylish design, to it's practicality, it fits my needs perfectly. There are 4 of us in my household, so a 4 slice toaster is a must. There is one heat dial which operates both sides of the toaster, and I find that either 4/5 makes my toast just as I like it - a nice amount of colour, but not too dark. My previous toaster never cooked toast with a crunch, it was always slightly soggy, however this little beauty toasts it perfectly, and each side comes out even. It also has removable crumb trays which make it super easy to clean too. Overall, a great addition to any kitchen, and an ideal toast maker.
Smart looking but where you are toasting 2 slices of bread you have to use the same lever on one side of the toaster all the time. It is only when you are cooking 4 slices of toast that you can use both levers. This means that one side of the toaster gets excessive use and if someone likes their toast better done than others you keep having to re adjust settings on the same side of the toaster. Although this is very easy to do, it's also very easy to forget . You notice when everything else is ready. Needing to always use the same side of the toaster for 2 pieces of bread was pointed out on the top of the toaster after unpacking. Unfortunately it had been used before really thinking it through. This needs to be explained clearly in the blurb BEFORE purchase.
