This Russell Hobbs Adventure 2-slice toaster is a cracker. Its well-designed smooth good looks in brushed stainless steel, besides being easy on the eye, make it easy to clean with no annoying nooks and crannies for crumbs to gather in. The toast comes out beautifully evenly browned, timed to whatever exotic style of bread or bun I'm toasting. I like to try many different breads, so being able to take a peep halfway to check the timing is so good! The crumb tray underneath slides out easily, so regular emptying is simple, before the crumbs have a chance build-up down there. All-in-all a handsome, practical toaster which lends breakfast the air of a feast!

I had had the identical toaster for some years but it was no longer as efficient in toasting as it used to be. I thought I knew the solution buy another one. Wrong. I have to agree with the review that speaks of how they also bought a 2nd one but want to know why it doesn’t toast. I have to put my bread in twice. Set on a high heat the 1st time the bread pops up all it’s done is heated the bread. My old toaster was better!! Thank you Robert Dyas who have taken the toaster back.
Great two slice toaster with easy to use settings. Simple! Only draw back is the finish it is lovely until you get a finger mark on the shiny surface. You can see it from across the room. 😂😂
I bought this about 2 to 3 weeks agoIt burns the top on one side and is blonde on the other side. I am looking after my mother and need to find a time when I have carers to take the toaster back. Planning to do this tomorrow 13th September. Also it doesn't fit a supermarket slice of bread.
I opened the outer carton, which was undamaged. The inner Russell Hobbs box had been pierced by a forceful blow - a large hole on the corner. Fortunately the inner packing was not damaged & the item untouched. It could have been so different. The toaster was tested & appears to be working adequately.
Looks good though it's a bit small. Quite a squeeze to fit standard bread slices. Too small for tiger bread. Disappointing.
Toaster for 2 slices of bread etc, works fine, no issues, only bought it approx 2-3 weeks ago, usually toadters stop working properly after a couple of years
An excellent toaster for small bread. Normal sized bread, like Warburtons large, sticks out of the top by about 1-1.5 inches, so you have to turn it around to get it all toasted. Large sized bread will not fit in sideways either, as the toaster is too short. Why do manufacturers make such stupid mistakes? Was it made in China? because their clothes dimensions are about the same as this toaster.
