Used this to replace a 2-stroke. The kit is a great buy if you already have or are thinking of getting the 36v HP lawnmower; as the lawnmower comes with one battery but works best with two. If you buy this kit you get the second battery, and a well made line trimmer.

When it's running it's a beast. I was VERY disappointed on first use to discover that they only provide enough trimmer line for a single bump (i'm talking like 30cm of line). So 20 mins into first use I was out of line and back off to Bunnings :(. Then second use, the 6.0ah fully charged battery lasts 25m under load on low setting (and takes 80m to recharge). The advertised 44m does caveat not under load. With a huge off site yard, I now need a second battery at $299 to get 50m runtime at best. Big battery (its a brick), big price ($299 per 6ah).So now i'm in $920 for the kit + extra battery + extra line to get maybe 1hr runtime at best? The power in this trimmer is amazing, managed to trim my front & backyard & my neighbours front yard, then mowed it all & only used half the battery power!
Picked this up after the 2T snipper decided to stuff about getting started. The simple push the button and it goes is well worth it, and the 36v has the power to really match the 2T. To be honest this seemed to have more power than my 12yr old 2T snipper.
Purchased the line-trimmer to complement my new Ryobi mower and wasn’t disappointed! A little heavy for my older muscles, but nicely balanced and trims a fine line, with power left over to add to the mower’s capacity to provide an excellent lawn outcome. Well worth the investment - great value for money.
