Great little inverter at a good price. I'd only recommend if you already have 36v batteries for your mower etc, but if you do then this is a bargain.Tested fine with all the usual suspects - chargers, lights...etc. It was able to run my Xbox Series X too!One minor downside is that it seems to run the whole inverter when using the USB ports - so it heats up and isn't particularly efficient (guessing it does DC -> AC -> DC conversion).The light is pretty bright, and doesn't dim quite as much as I would have hoped.

This inverter is the best! I also have the 18v inverter and that works great, however you get twice the operational time out of a 36v 5AH battery vs an 18v. Ideal for camping or for remote, off grid living as a backup.

This is the handiest little purchase. Works so well. I was looking at getting a power station of some type and am so glad that I discoverd this gem. So easy to hook up my 36v batteries and away I go. Can take my DJing anywhere I want - easy to power my laptop and mixer, hook up to my JBL Boombox's and the party is on. I am sure it will be super handy camping and whenever we cop the next power outage too. Recommended!!!
Does exactly what it says - great small inverter. Have tried it out on multiple 36v pack including 2a and 5a - all worked perfectly. Inverter works well, as well as the USB ports - price is at a good price point for what it does
The 240 volt inverter may be OK (have not really tested it for efficiency) but I'm not happy with the USB power. It works, but it flattened the 36V battery fast. When charging the phone via USB, you can hear a fan start up to blow away wasted heat. If you are after USB power and already have an 18V battery or two, just get the USB topper for those. I got more phone charges out of my 18V battery than I did from my heavier 36V battery. I'm disappointed. I expected more from Ryobi. Other products have been very good. I have a battery dril that is so old it is dark blue - bought about 20 years ago with nickel cadmium batteries that died, but it still works great with Lithium batteries!
Previously had the 18V version but so many household appliances refused to function on it due to its "modified sine wave" output. Bought this because of its "pure sine wave" and now everything functions perfectly. If you need something to keep you going during power outages (especially if you have an instant gas hot water system - many needing electricity to function) then this thing is absolutely brilliant.
This battery inverter is great for providing power for lights, radio, my 60inch tv, fan and charing the phone etc. I bought it mainly as a power source in blackouts, but has come in handy for the garden shed down the back yard.
Everyone needs one of these for those emergency or to give you options to make your mains powered items portable. Great product and will be used a lot this year.
I bought this to try out during a recent black out, as I didn't want to trial it on the much more expensive power station. It works well, but the batteries are a bit pricey unfortunately.As a point of reference I purchased the 4ah battery (twin pack, much better value), and had it powering my 140w 50" TV, cable modem and Telstra router with YouTube playing, and got about 1 hour 15 minutes from a full charge. Was hoping for a little more by the estimates on the packaging, but not terrible.I'd say good for short power outages if you get a couple batteries or a bigger capacity, but anything more and you'd probably want a generator to charge them during the day and a few batteries to hold you over night when the noise is an issue.
