The internal impact dampening works like a charm and it will save you from sore wrists, even after prolonged usage.The only downside is the weight of the impact wrench with a 5.0Ah battery attached, but it is still lighter than carrying a compressor, extension cords, pneumatic hoses and an air-driven impact wrench to, and from, your car. 5/5

Was a bit wary about buying one of these at first, but i'm glad i did. Works as it's supposed, lot easier than dragging an airline and windy gun around. Easy to use and operate and last a long time after charged. Would definitely recommend, i use it in my commercial vehicle repair and paintshop.

The claimed 400Nm of torque is a joke. This wrench couldn't even manage 200Nm, which I can manage with an extension bar and my bare hands! The first unit I bought killed the battery in 2 minutes flat, the replacement just couldn't cope with what it was meant to do, battery life seemed to be good though. This wrench would probably be best suited to removing screws from wood via the adaptor bit that comes with it. I have never owned any Ryobi products before this and I believed the hype, I won't be buying Ryobi again.

Based on how much cheaper this was than a Makita or Dewalt with half the torque, I didn't expect too much from it. But it has been brilliant so far. I have used it to remove suspension bolts which hadn't been removed in over 20 years and it handled them just fine, so the torque spec seems accurate. The build quality seems to be very good too. The 3 LEDs are also surprisingly bright.
Chosen because I already have several 18+ tools and batteries. Relatively expensive, but not compared to other quality makes. Tested immediately on wheels nuts with no problem and then several rusted lawnmower nuts again with ease. The 3 led lights are an excellent idea and I see these being copied by other manufacturers, very useful. Overall glad I made this choice and yes, recommended especially if you already use the system.
It works very well. I work as a steel erector and I use this rattle gun very often.Never rated ryobi before as we all use millwaukee at work which is expensive, so this was the alternative. After some review searching I bought it. Its also quite comfy and not too heavy. Compared with its power/body size/price. I prefer it to makita.
Great tool. I paired this with a 2.5Ah One+ lithium battery. On speed 3 it easily removes wheel lug nuts. Speed 1 I use for driving screws and light duties. Speed 3 is a great middle-ground. Impressed with the performance. The led work light is handy also. Great compact powerful tool.
I needed to change a lower wishbone. I tried using sockets, ratchet and breaker bar prior to purchasing and the front bolt would not move! Whilst the impact wrench did not whizz it off it must of loosened it as after a little persuasion it finally got the bolt out and job done. Easily done my wheel bolts which are 135 nm and undone track rod end with ease bearing in mind it was the original on a 2006 car! Very pleased with it.
I hesitated before buying this as Ryobi is not as well known as others such as Makita. But having already bought a Ryobi Combil Drill and been impressed with it, I thought it made sense to choose a tool that shared the same battery type, so I didn't end up with an assortment of chargers. The Ryobi Impact Wrench also impresses. It feels solid and well-made, and having tested it on a few stubborn nuts on my old Land Rover, I can confirm it works well too. I bought a 4.0 A battery separately to ensure it will have plenty of long-lasting power. There is a good selection of tools in the Ryobi ONE+ range and I expect to buy more, having been satisfied with my purchases so far.
I bought this tool to compliment the growing Ryobi one set i already have, My tools are used for home diy and projects and not on professional level so my expectations may not be as high as some, However that said i do a lot of work restoring a car which this tool comes in handy for. The three settings for the speed and torque help to prevent over tightening small nuts and bolts or stripping a thread and come in very handy. the tool is comfortable to use and with the 3 LED lights is great when working in dingy light. When looking at other comparisons online the Ryobi looks a little more compact in size to its competitors and seems to perform as well from what i have seen.
