Nice size build but with design faults. On/Off switch poorly placed, visibility of cutting tool poor and I hold the body of the tool when I'm using it, but there's absolutely no contouring for grip. It's a trim router so visibility and fine control should have been a top priority for this tool, instead Ryobi just churned out a very basic tool to add to the ONE+ range. Nice try Ryobi, maybe you'll give the next version a bit more consideration.

Comes with fence (not Very well advertised as such ) light in base Very useful when working on cupboards .Don't be put off with comments regards battery making it awkward to use it just requires getting used to like any new tool. Bought this to help with hanging doors and cutting out hinge and latch recesses. The router is easy to set up and very easy to control to make the job go perfectly
More powerful than I expected but well worth the money and a great addition to ant arsenal of tools. One gripe is that I would have liked a larger plate for use on larger boards for ease of use
The tool itself is lightweight, and the battery (2, 4 and 5aH) seems to keep the tool balanced in your hand, never feels top heavy, which is good. Perfect for on site work and the quick-charge batteries in this range mean that you really can work all day. The chuck is of good quality, which is what let's most Routers down. Excellent.
Another addition to my collection, great product as expected from Ryobi. Build quality and ease of use for getting the job done.
Having never used a router before I was a bit nervous. My first job was to let three hinges into a brand new door. I needn't have worried because it made the job so quick and easy. The tool is light , ergonomic and moves along very smoothly. With it's fine up and down adjustment and guide it is perfect.
Great tool and with extra bits can be used for various finishes. Great addition to my One+ collection. Only down side is it would be useful to have a light on both sides of the bit
Excellent bit of kit, plenty of power as long as you keep work fairly small. Thought the small base would be a bit wobbly, but not at all. The unit is light enough to keep stable. Wish I knew about it before I bought my small corded router.
