I have been wearing the XA PRO for what seems like forever. The most important feature of any shoe is how it fits YOUR particular foot and the XA PRO really seems made for my feet. The shoe is deep enough to accommodate my custom orthotics and are sturdy enough to protect my feet for walking, biking or hiking. I have several pairs and wear them every day. My best guess is that I have been wearing Salomon's for 20 years and I have never had issues with quality or durability. I love the quick lace system and have never had issues with hot spots or sore spots on the tops of my feet.

I’ve been wearing Salomon trail runners since I got my first pair of The Best Shoes Ever, the Salomon XT Wings, back in 2010. I love the XA series but I miss the wide rear sole of the XTs. I hope Salomon never discontinues these. I have three brand-new pairs in boxes so I’ll never run out of them! I’ve tried some of the other Salomon trail runners, but these have a nice wide toe box; they fit perfectly! Thanks for letting me share!
