Sam's Pantry Chocolate Brownie with Roasted Almonds Protein Bar 12 Pack

Tasty convenient snack. I found these easy to find on the supermarket shelf. I like the packaging, all pertinent information clearly displayed and liked the picture of the bar itself. I don't usually buy things like this so was pleased to receive as a sample. I thought the value for 12 bars was reasonable. I like the size of the individual bars themselves. I enjoyed the crunch of the bar firstly and then the taste, not too sweet which I was worried they would be being chocolate brownie. I also enjoyed the nuts and seeds. Overall I found it very enjoyable taste. I also found them really convenient to have in the cupboard to reach in for a snack and found them quite filling. I would recommend and purchase again in future.

Husband loved and asked me to buy again. I personally didnt like this product at all. Maybe because I was expecting it to taste like actual chocolate. The taste wasnt nice, reminded me of low calorie meal replacement bars.. not a nice taste. I guess this is the flavour of the protein that is added. If it was up to me alone I wouldnt buy these again as the protein content per bar is low and sugar/additive content is high, and the taste isnt even good. In saying all that, I asked my husband to try one and he actually really liked them! So much so that he took one to work every day and asked me to buy them regularly. So there you go - some people will like them and some wont, I suppose.

Nice Protein Bar. The Sam's Pantry Chocolate Brownie With Roasted Almonds Protein Bar was very nice to sample. The protein bars were a nice combination of nuts, seeds and chocolate. The bars were not overly sweet, but had a firm texture. These protein bars appear to be a healthier alternative to many other muesli bars, however they are relatively high in sugar, mainly due to the chocolate. The bars are a good source of protein and make for a good snack option. They are also convenient to take with you while travelling or for the kids lunches. I would try these protein bars again, however, it would also be good to try other flavours and options that are offered by Sam's. The price point of these bars is comparable with other muesli bars.

Great snack for the motorbike racers. This came in so handy, had a 2 hour motorbike endurance race on the weekend. Brought this along and was a hit with myself and everyone else in the team. So yes this is a 5 star product, great amount of nuts in a bar, not so sweet, not overly chocolatey, would definately add this to my shopping list, go add to yours, you'll thank me later. Are you wondering how the team went, after a fall on the Le Mans style start, bike not starting on grid, one bike crashing and one rider had to ride for 1 1/2 hours instead of 30 minutes each, they came 2nd in their category. I'd say, they did pretty well.

Seeing the protein factor advertised on the packet along with the nuts & seeds was most encouraging as we like to enjoy snacks that are more beneficial. I really liked the size of the bar as it would be the perfect size for both kids & adults. The decadent choccie on the bottom & slightly up the sides of the bar was super luxurious which added to the cheeky brownie factor. The combination of all the nuts with the seeds with the peanut butter made it both crunchy while chewy & chocolatey! LOVE! Taste: These taste amazing! The chocolate base is thick and the chocolate flavour is rich and doesn't taste cheap. It doesn't taste like a nut/muesli bar at all, it taste like a treat. I am not a fan of muesli bars, but this I love! Can't taste the added protein at all. They aren't chewy like other nut bars and don't get stuck in your teeth. Price: $8. 50 for 12 bars. Not a bad price, but would hopefully buy when on special. Product location: In the isle with the rest of the muesli bars. Re-purchase: Yes. Who: I would give these to my 4 year old son, as well as my husband and myself. Recommend: I ate this so quickly I almost wanted another one! Highly recommend.

I like that they have 9g of protein in each bar, are 193 calories each and don't contain artificial sugars like other protein bars. While I liked the taste of the roasted peanuts and almonds, I absolutely hated the taste of the dark chocolate. Plus, like the Sam's Pantry Birthday Cake bars I sampled, I found that there was an odd aftertaste but for some reason I found it worse with these. Delicious snack. I was lucky enough to be on the Sam’s bar train with these Brownie bars the second Sam’s sample I was offered recently. And like the Double Choc bars, these did not disappoint. Found in the muesli bar aisle, this bulk 12 pack doesn’t come cheap at $8. 50 but when on special, they can be an economical buy. I took a bar on a recent hike I went on, and it was a perfect mid point pick me up, full of protein and a much needed energy hit after a steep decent up hill! I love that they are gluten free, and this variety had delicious crispy rice puffs added to give a little something special Not at all sweet, a great amount of protein and the standard 180 or so calorie count meant these are on par and as nutritious as a muesli bar can get. Freaking delicious. It was a gruelling task finding these! It took 4 visits to 2 different woolies stores as they were out of stock!!One last ditch and I found it on last day of redeeming! I was ecstatic to have found them and quickly noted they were gluten free, but still a little cautious as they’re AKA cardboard! Having said that I was delighted to find a gluten free snack, so quickly tucked into one without reading the other ingredients.. i then thought ohh oh I taste honey! I also have fructose issues! I read the packet and it was golden syrup! Phewwww They were totally delish and I’m so glad I persevered as I don’t normally go to those lengths to find a product!
