I treated myself and purchased this carry n about a month ago. Love the size and weight and am amazed by how how it holds. Unfortunately, I tried to personalize the lock combination. Huge disaster! After talking to a salesperson at the store where I purchased it, the best advice was to try every possible combination. More that 2 hours later, I got my suitcase to open with a combination that was not anywhere close to the 000 you purchase it with or the combination I used. Bottom line, I would not recommend this model. Disappointed by how much I paid for losing an afternoon! Additionally the directions that came with the suitcase for setting the lock were incorrect according to salesperson and very good YouTube video.

I bought two of these, one black, one blue. During our first time using them, flying with KLM this Christmas, the cases were very badly scratched. I contacted Samsonite as I was surprised that they got scuffed so easily. The damage was far worse than that on cheaper cases we had had in the past. Samsonite weren't interested and only offered cleaning advice. I almost bought it, was in the store ready to buy when informed the price was different than first told.... this is the Newer model of the Cosmolite. The only difference is double wheels, and a double handle... neither will protect the suitcase from damage with airlines. It is nice and light, however, not as light at the Lite-Shock line. Moreover, it is thinner than other models,, it may be 30" but most are 13" deep while this is 11" deep big difference losing 2" and paying double the price of the previous model. Why not do a bold royal blue, forest green, even a hot orange, so they stick out in the airport...don't think there was so much thought for this new line other than to make a new line with new pricing....it fails with me. I've used Samsonite exclusively for the past 6 or so years. The double handle feels nice and sturdy, but the 'spinner' wheels still have the glide ive always loved.This is the perfect size for a couples clothes for the weekend, or a week for a single.
