This is the best check in suitcase made by any manufacturer period. I’ve own this bag now and the other variant with the single stem grip. Of the two get this one because you can slide another bag on top for ease of going through the airport. I heavily researched every suitcase out there and none come close to being anywhere near as light as this suitcase which is important for those trying to squeeze in a few extra pounds. While I like brands like TUMI as well they are just too heavy. Anyways I just bought another and hope they keep this bag around forever

We took 3 of these cases to Europe for a family trip for 5 weeks. They got thoroughly tested and passed with flying colours. They are very lightweight but durable suitcases and the wheels impressed me handling rough surfaces like cobbled streets and rolling really well on generally. After 9 flights they did get a little scratched up but we expected that and they still look good. After one flight one case got dented in on a corner but I was able to pop it back out and it looks great again. There is a little flex in the handle but it held up strong.

I bought may new case from Luggage.co... primarily because they had a pretty sharp price at the time. I was very surprised when the case arrived the very next day! Excellent service. The Samsonite case seems to be pretty good. I packed it up to the gunnels two days after I got it and flew off to the south island for Warbirds. The shell is very thin but seems to be made of some magic material that is super tough and suffered the rigors of the baggage handling system without harm. The zips feel strong and reliable, but best of all is the weight! This thing is an absolute featherweight. It's my first Samsonite but if this case is anything to go by they know what they are doing. Thanks for the great case and the excellent service.

After only one usage the internal lining was damaged and torn. There was no sharp object in the suitcase and I had packed all of my stuff inside smaller bags. I took it to Samsonite repair shop and they said they were unable to fix it. I contacted Samsonite and they said this was not a manufacturing warranty and was not covered. I am absolutely disappointed with the quality as well as the customer service and do not recommend this to anyone. I will never buy from Samsonite again with such a high price and such a low quality.
I have always bought Samsonite cases because of their strength, quality and design. I bought this case because it was light, beautifully styled and a semi hard shell. The first time I flew with it however, it came off the baggage carousel with two very large dents in one end and other superficial damage. It looked great but is simply not strong enough for the rough handling baggage gets in airports. I shall be going back to Samsonite on this and going back to soft cases.
I bought two of these, one black, one blue. During our first time using them, flying with KLM this Christmas, the cases were very badly scratched. I contacted Samsonite as I was surprised that they got scuffed so easily. The damage was far worse than that on cheaper cases we had had in the past. Samsonite weren't interested and only offered cleaning advice. See below:"Thank you for sending the picturesWill I appreciate this is disappointing suitcases will pick up marks and some scratches on there journey,Rough handling, when loading and unloading, being dragging along a rough surface can add scratches to the protective outer shell.Removing scratches and caring for your Samsonite case between trips will help, You can wash the hard outer shell of your Samsonite case with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth, Scrubbing away any light scuffs, dirt or other stains, you should then rinse any remaining soap off the case with plain water and let dry.Applying a wax-based furniture polish to the outside of the case while paying particular attention to the scratches as the wax contained in the polish fills gouges, reducing their depth and visibility on the surface of the case.If you want you can also finish cleaning the case using silicon-based automobile polish. The polish brings outthe plastic case's natural lustre and shine."
The case has internal tension straps and a zipped divider, but is otherwise unlined. The external zips and hinges work well, and the wheels glide over hard surfaces. The weight is surprising - it is not much more than 2.3 kg for a 75cm case. Now to the test.A trans-Atlantic flight via a European hub (4 flights) with hard working airport staff. The case was literally unscathed. No dents, nothing broken. The shells are super tough with woven PET, and the whole thing is tough. Even the wheels.Overall this is a great product, made in the EU27.
I just bought two new bags. Almost identical to the ones I bought 15 years ago. I only replaced them because the old ones were very scratched and had hundreds of stickers on them. Samsonite had a sale and I decided to treat myself. I have million + status on 4 different airlines. I travel extensively and I would never use any other suitcase than Cosmolite. The absolute best!
I recently bought a C-Lite 81 cm luggage on 8 March 2024 and it was found damaged when I collected my baggage on 11 March 2024 at the airport after I arrived at my destination.I was so shocked because C-Lite is renowned for its impact resistant Curv material, I didn't expect the material would be peeled off and scratched during the very first time flying with me! Peeling off of Curv on first time use is a true disappointment and disgrace to your brand, this has raised doubt among your customers towards your product quality and advertisement too.I have been using S'cure (now renamed as Essens) for many years and it is still in good shape except some minor scratches, not to mention Essens is way cheaper than the C-Lite series!Very disappointed to the brand and ... MoreI recently bought a C-Lite 81 cm luggage on 8 March 2024 and it was found damaged when I collected my baggage on 11 March 2024 at the airport after I arrived at my destination.I was so shocked because C-Lite is renowned for its impact resistant Curv material, I didn't expect the material would be peeled off and scratched during the very first time flying with me! The Samsonite C-Lite Carry-On has a sleek design and is incredibly lightweight. I used this for a weekend getaway and was very satisfied with its performance. My favorite features are its durable construction, the USB portal and the handle system. The lightweight construction is convenient. The material of the luggage is hard with a little bit of give when pushed. It looks like it will stand up to use with no difficulty over the years. The USB portal is located on the outside adjacent to the lock mechanism so you can easily charge your devices on the go. The interior of the luggage includes a dedicated zipper enclosure to hold a power bank. The handle system is external to the luggage, which I prefer. The USB portal is located on the outside adjacent to the lock mechanism so you can easily charge your devices on the go. The interior of the luggage includes a dedicated zipper enclosure to hold a power bank. The handle system is external to the luggage, which I prefer. It smoothly opens to three heights and closes with ease. When the luggage has weight, it is effortless to maneuver the luggage (upright or angled), but when it is empty, upright luggage doesn't glide as smoothly. The top and side carry handles are designed to allow for a quick grab with a comfortable grip and easily fit larger hands. The luggage arrives preset to the standard 000 lock setting. Slide the TSA lock toward the dials and the locking mechanism will release the zipper pulls to open the luggage. Resetting the lock to your own combination takes less than a minute. The luggage doesn't fully expand on all sides, but there is an inner zipper that expands about an inch on one length of the luggage, with no expansion on the other side. This luggage includes everything that I need in a carry-on while also being very lightweight. I believe this carry-on would be ideal for any traveler, especially those wanting to cut down on their travel weight.
