Samsonite C-Lite 55cm EXP Suitcase Sunset

I have used Samsonite "MADE IN EUROPE" for more years than I can remember, and this new one is in the league of magnificently crafted, hard-case suitcases.I travelled almost every week of every year, and years later, my older luggage is still in perfect condition.The service from Samsonite was outstanding and exemplary. If all companies provided this level of service, we might have a much better economy.I am so glad to have this new one in my stable Samsonite of hard-case luggage.And the colour is perfect for a man. It's brilliant and very sexy. Well done, Samsonite, and keep up the inspiring work.

Brilliant strong and lightweight suitcase

We took 3 of these cases to Europe for a family trip for 5 weeks. They got thoroughly tested and passed with flying colours. They are very lightweight but durable suitcases and the wheels impressed me handling rough surfaces like cobbled streets and rolling really well on generally. After 9 flights they did get a little scratched up but we expected that and they still look good. After one flight one case got dented in on a corner but I was able to pop it back out and it looks great again. There is a little flex in the handle but it held up strong.

Great Service, Great Product.

I bought may new case from Luggage.co... primarily because they had a pretty sharp price at the time. I was very surprised when the case arrived the very next day! Excellent service. The Samsonite case seems to be pretty good. I packed it up to the gunnels two days after I got it and flew off to the south island for Warbirds. The shell is very thin but seems to be made of some magic material that is super tough and suffered the rigors of the baggage handling system without harm. The zips feel strong and reliable, but best of all is the weight! This thing is an absolute featherweight. It's my first Samsonite but if this case is anything to go by they know what they are doing. Thanks for the great case and the excellent service.

I would have rated zero if there was the option

After only one usage the internal lining was damaged and torn. There was no sharp object in the suitcase and I had packed all of my stuff inside smaller bags. I took it to Samsonite repair shop and they said they were unable to fix it. I contacted Samsonite and they said this was not a manufacturing warranty and was not covered. I am absolutely disappointed with the quality as well as the customer service and do not recommend this to anyone. I will never buy from Samsonite again with such a high price and such a low quality.

Scratches very easily

I bought two of these, one black, one blue. During our first time using them, flying with KLM this Christmas, the cases were very badly scratched. I contacted Samsonite as I was surprised that they got scuffed so easily. The damage was far worse than that on cheaper cases we had had in the past. Samsonite weren't interested and only offered cleaning advice. Super light large case

The case has internal tension straps and a zipped divider, but is otherwise unlined. The external zips and hinges work well, and the wheels glide over hard surfaces. The weight is surprising - it is not much more than 2.3 kg for a 75cm case.Now to the test.A trans-Atlantic flight via a European hub (4 flights) with hard working airport staff.The case was literally unscathed. No dents, nothing broken.The shells are super tough with woven PET, and the whole thing is tough. Even the wheels.Overall this is a great product, made in the EU27.

Very Disappointing!!

I recently bought a C-Lite 81 cm luggage on 8 March 2024 and it was found damaged when I collected my baggage on 11 March 2024 at the airport after I arrived at my destination. I was so shocked because C-Lite is renowned for its impact resistant Curv material, I didn't expect the material would be peeled off and scratched during the very first time flying with me! Peeling off of Curv on first time use is a true disappointment and disgrace to your brand, this has raised doubt among your customers towards your product quality and advertisement too. [Rewarded Review] Best lightweight super large suitcase out there

This is the best check in suitcase made by any manufacturer period. I’ve own this bag now and the other variant with the single stem grip. Of the two get this one because you can slide another bag on top for ease of going through the airport. I heavily researched every suitcase out there and none come close to being anywhere near as light as this suitcase which is important for those trying to squeeze in a few extra pounds. While I like brands like TUMI as well they are just too heavy. Anyways I just bought another and hope they keep this bag around forever

The Samsonite C-Lite Carry-On has a sleek design and is incredibly lightweight. I used this for a weekend getaway and was very satisfied with its performance. My favorite features are its durable construction, the USB portal and the handle system. The lightweight construction is convenient. The material of the luggage is hard with a little bit of give when pushed. It looks like it will stand up to use with no difficulty over the years. When the luggage has weight, it is effortless to maneuver the luggage (upright or angled), but when it is empty, upright luggage doesn't glide as smoothly. The top and side carry handles are designed to allow for a quick grab with a comfortable grip and easily fit larger hands.The luggage arrives preset to the standard 000 lock setting. Slide the TSA lock toward the dials and the locking mechanism will release the zipper pulls to open the luggage. Resetting the lock to your own combination takes less than a minute. The luggage doesn't fully expand on all sides, but there is an inner zipper that expands about an inch on one length of the luggage, with no expansion on the other side. This luggage includes everything that I need in a carry-on while also being very lightweight.
