I have a 43inch computer monitor from another company, but I bought this model while looking for another sub-monitor because of the heavy workload. This is a review after using it for about a year now. The first monitor from another company was larger than this product, but now the monitor has become a sub-monitor. I use this monitor for work and my girlfriend uses it for school. I orginally bought it for her school, she was hesitant i said im getting it. She loves it and loves using it on a daily basis. I wish it was easier to connect with another monitor with out some port connector needed. Its been amazing using it to work as i said would love to get another display like this one. But for a single display it opens up multiple tabs and looks like 2 14" momitors. The use of the usb ports in the back makes it feel like its own laptop. Plug anything into it and the computer reads it as if its part of it. I gave it 4 stars because i feel that it could be better connectivity with 2 monitors without needing a port connector. But im happy makes wish i bought a bigger one

I always wanted an ultra wide monitor and this is the best purchase I've ever made. It's WQHD resolution helps me do multitasking. I am a software developer and benefit a lot from having multiple screens open simultaneously. I can easily open 4 windows on this. It reduces strain on my eyes the colors are crisp. Take that information with grain of salt as I don't work in multimedia but it's good emough for my purpose. This monitor also has two type C ports, one of which can spit out 85W which I use to charge my laptop and said goodbye to the charger. The second type C port can output 15W, which can charge your smartphone. It also has HDMI and USB-A port. I use my Samsung monitor with my small recording set up and I couldn't be happier. I don't have much room to spread out so the size is perfect. Recording software often comes with a jam packed screen full of numbers and different options to choose from and the strain on my eyes can be horrible. Not anymore! This monitor is so clear I can see everything as if I was an inch away from the screen. The light filtering feature is by far my favorite thing about it though. Most computers come with a blue light filter, but they just don't get it right like Samsung has with the filter they've included with the monitor. Great monitor from a great brand.
excelent monitor whilst it lasted. Great colours, viewing angles and frame rate. There are some issues with ghosting on the blurbusters UFO test, however this has never been a problem whilst gaming. HOWEVER, after 2 years the image would be heavily corrupted and only the top 1 cm would be visiable at power on. This would clear after 5 mins, however got worse to the point that it was permonant when running the display at 144Hz and would run fine at 120Hz. Now 6 months later 120Hz is experiancing the same issue, lasing for incrasingly longer time (20mins before clearing) and i cant use the monitor at the advertised frame rate. GOOD FOR 2 YEARS, NOW CANT BE RUN AT 144Hz
Absolutely love my ur59c monitors. Bought 3 six months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed using them. The picture and colors are fabulous. I haven't noticed any dead pixels, delivery was fast, and setup was easy. I haven't experienced any of the power plug issues, but i also pushed them in until they solidly clicked. It did take a bit of effort for that but it has held good. My only gripe would be the lack of vesa compatibility. This is, in my opinion, silly, with as long as the vesa standard has been around. I knew that going in though, and almost didn't buy the monitors for that single reason. I do not regret the purchase at all given all that, though, and would happily purchase them again, if i had to do it all over again.

I have it connected to my work laptop via HDMI and my personal laptop via Thunderbolt 3 connector. So it is very practical to switch from one to another. The HDMI connection is very reliable, I have had almost no issues with it. However, the Thunderbolt 3 connection is not as reliable. I have had to physically disconnect the cable from the back of the monitor some times for my laptop to get recognized again because doing it from the end to the laptop did not work. I am using the provided USB Thunderbolt 3 cable for this connection so I don't think the cable is the issue. In summary, I am very happy with my monitor because of how wide it is and how nice the resolution of the images are.
I work from home 100% and I purchased this as my primary monitor for my work computer - a Surface Pro. It isn't any better or worse than other monitors I have used. The speakers provide plenty of volume and the size is perfect for me at about a 3-foot distance. It took a little bit of time to get used to the curve, but now I don't even notice it. I don't feel it's any better than a flat screen, but certainly not any worse. I broke a tab on the back cover plate when unpacking it, but it still holds in position. The back of the monitor is thicker than flat screens and I doubt all cameras would adjust well to it. Mine sits okay - a Microsoft Lifecam with a very flexible base.

I use my 32-in curved monitor for gaming and absolutely love how clear the quality of this screen is. It has higher refresh rate for those gamers and also has a nice 1080p screen for those that enjoy a bit of TV. Changing your settings to super easy and control to the volume is just one left or right click away.
