Samsung 32-Inch M8 UHD Smart Monitor

We bought this monitor for our office because it is described as supporting the Microsoft 365 software.Teams, which is a part of that software, unfortunately is not supported. This is very disappointing.The smart Monitor only supports Google Duo. If we had known this before, we would have bought a cheaper Monitor, as we now have to connect a separate Laptop with it anyhow.PBTECH: Microsoft Team is supposed to be supported by the monitor, currently there is an issue on all Android devices for the software. This is a Microsoft issue, not a monitor issue.

It is a really great monitor with a nice 4K resolution, and the perfect size for it. Been using it for a solid month now and it made my multi-tasking developer life much easier! I usually divide the screen in half and have the code in the left half of it and 2 more screens opened in the right side of it, split horizontally!- Many pros but will not list them here to not extend too much- Cons: the sound is not so great, but you can pair a bluetooth sound box to it. Found the colours and contrasts a bit saturated, so wouldn't recommend it for someone that works with design and need accuracy on colours. The Tizen OS that comes installed in it is great, but it's a bit glitchy and can be very laggy sometimes.

PROs: The fact it is white, makes it more stylish than the standard black monitors. It is a cleaner look. The base is solid, and minimal - unlike the giant legs that protrude and take up half your desktop on other Monitors. Setup was as simple as plug and play, and setting up connectivity to wifi for Netflix. Picture is excellent and 4k capable - so matches the laptop. Adapter chords provided. Smart Monitor, with mini remote (also white) Neat little webcam provided CONs: The Adapter chords provided are a little short, so dictates where you have your laptop The space at the back where you need to connect the chords is quite limited due to the base. I could see this connection become lose over time.

Great monitor for designing!

Great monitor! I use it for design work and like the brightness and vibrancy of colours. The design of it is quite sleek and attractive (I bought it in white). I also like being able to login to streaming services and watch TV using the remote. The only con is that the colour vibrancy changes if looking up or down at the monitor - you'll see colours accurately when looking at it straight on. It took me a while to realise this when I was setting it up and thought the calibration was off!

Great more affordable monitor for Mac Studio

Love this monitor, great size and quality, I actually didn’t need the smart features but wanted a high res enough alternative to the Mac Studio monitor that wasn’t as expensive since I wanted to buy 2 but also wasn’t ugly. So far I’ve just got one, and hooked it up beside my old LG screen while I work out if I like it. Both connect to the mac via USB-C / thunderbolt cables. It took a LOT of configuration to get accurate colours but once I did it’s been great. I wish there was the ability to turn the screen off and on (or sleep mode and on) without the remote. This is what’s stopping me from buying a second one. I'm buying a second one now

I'm so close to giving this 5 starts. Picture quality is good, features are amazing, design is great.I'm using the first one of these as a TV tucked away on a book shelf in the living room - it fits exactly - 100 streamed content via BBC, Netflix, NowTV Plex etc. All works very well.Why not 5 stars? The sound quality from the internal speakers, even for quick catch up on the news, is almost painful to put up with. A small soundbar plugged into the HDMI port has fixed the issue.

This smart monitor is amazing.I bought this monitor to de-clutter my home office, and I also wanted the adaptive pictire to reduce eye strain. It is delivering both of those in truckloads.Many of the YouTube reviews were way off in terms of picture quality, sound quality and build quality. The picture is fantastic with very smooth motion and unmatched clarity. The M8 has 10-bit colour unlike its little brother M7 with 8-bit colour. I just love how it has all the apps that I can use for streaming and the remote control is a great device to switch across from app to screen. Having never used an external monitor before the 32” inch size I feel spoilt for screen landscape now and I don’t think I could go back to the smaller screens. Anyone that is searching for a new monitor and don’t want go down that labyrinth of a monitor hunt. Than I would totally recommend the Samsung 32” M8 Smart Monitor as a very smart decision.

But there are a few things that I don't like about this monitorthe first and biggest issue that I have is the adaptive picture mode. It is very unstable, the screen sometimes become really bright in dark conditions, and turns very yellowish in light conditions. This get annoying and disrupt my work flow.secondly, the speakers aren't that greatthirdly, the mic for this monitor is terrible. Of course, most monitors probably don't even have a mic built in. But it still would be nice if they added a nicer mic.lastly, even though the adjustable stand is high quality, but the cable that connects to my mac mini is poorly designed. The design is amazing but as usual samsung ruins it with the software. Its too similar to a TV and not like a monitor at all! Just to change the input it requires You to go through 3 menus which are FULL OF ADS and bloatware you dont want!Bixby is trash aswell, just to change the brightness I need to verify I am happy with what i said using the remote, it defeats the entire purpose of bixby. If i wanted to touch the remote then i wouldve.The hardware and the design is great though, its thin and exactly like the M1 imac and the camera is great. The software though needs a huge update, i absolutely HATE it
