Purchased this memory module to add an additional 8GB of RAM to my Dell Desktop, bringing it up to 16GB which should be what the manufacture should sell a Desktop in these days but sadly not. I purchased this item because it is the exact make and model my system already had and to not cause any compatibility issues either with timing or speed I decided to get this one. I also did not want to fork out the little extra cash if I already had an 8GB module. The installation was a breeze and the memory has been functioning as intended. I have noticed my system increase in speed significantly which makes me very happy.
I bought my first gen ryzen gaming PC tower that came with one stick of eight gigs of RAM. this of course let it only function in single channel a second stick of matching Samsung goodness you got me dual channel RAM and it performs as advertised.
