I have had my Galaxy S24 ultra for about 8 to 9 months and it's the best phone I've had through my years of experience. The system UI is very easy to understand and customize to your needs and preferences with how you live your day to day life. The camera and picture quality is top notch and you have many options for making the shot just right or editing your pictures afterwards. Something else that I like is the Edge Panels feature which let's you quickly with the swipe of one thumb no matter what you're doing on the phone. You can use it to do split screen with multiple apps, play music and even has a built in compass which is great for people who travel or hike. Probably one of my most used features that I like is the clipboard and being able to pin stuff like text and images, so I can save them for later and copy and paste them quickly instead of having to retype everything.I use my S24 Ultra for multiple hours a day in total everyday and it's better than any phone I've had previously.

So this is largely a comparison between the two.The S24 ultra did away with the curved edge screen, which is very convenient for screen protectors because it allows use of the cheaper, easier to install electrostatic adhesive glass protectors instead of the messy dome glass protectors with the uv-reactive adhesive.The camera performs as good as the S23 ultra. The sensor area has expanded, and the time to get an accurate reading is reduced so that I can unlock with a tap.In all, this is my favorite Samsung phone since the Note 20. While some people say they never use the stylus, I use it all the time. It has replaced yellow sticky notes for me.

Thank goodness it was very easy to get product support without even needing to chat to an agent. There is a 12 month parts and labor warranty that's included and it was very easy to schedule a repair appointment, through samsung, at a certified repair location near me.All in all - still the BEST smartphone.

In hindsight I think I would have been happier with a lighter and rounder (less edgy corners) phone at the expense of the aforementioned features.I've used the zoom on a few trips and to try to get close up photos of the moon, reading far off signs, and to get a better cropped photo of scenic landscapes.The stylus comes in handy for signing documents, circling details in photos, and handwriting notes mixed with drawings.The three complaints I have with the S24 Ultra is the software. You should be able to access these saved stickers some other way if using an alternative keyboard such as Gboard.The final issue is with the interface and switching between Windows. If I am typing a message or inputing text into a field then switching to a different window for information, the phone should realize I had my keyboard open when going back to the previous app. Instead I have to manually open the keyboard again. Fix this!

The amount of mistakes that come up on my S23 Ultra keyboard is always voluminous and it is frustrating and a time vampire to keep having to reread every 3 or 4 words to make corrections, and then having to reread what I type over and over to ensure the corrections are mistake free. probably made in excess of 100 corrections while typing this.I frigging hate this phone and get so frustrated, but the few phones with real keyboards on the market now are garbage.Plus I failed to mention I get terrible shooting pains and pins and needles in my fingers, hands and shoulders throughout the day, on a daily basis from having to touch this screen to write messages, or use the net.This phone would be awesome with a real keyboard. I really am so disgusted with this phone, but there isn't anything much different out there to resolve these daily anxiety producing issues.
