This device is perfect for most people. I'm not really into huge phones so I got the smallest size - which was the Samsung S23. After having this phone for several months, I got some strong opinionsFirst, this device has really good camera quality for most people. There is often this superstition that android phones have bad camera quality, but for my daily use this is perfect. Sometimes the camera has a hard time focusing on objects up close, and may have a slight shutter lag when taking pictures, but these are concerns which only matter to photographers. The phone camera also comes with 8k 30fps, which isn't needed for most people, but it exists in case you need to knowSecond, the fingerprint sensor is mid. I had a hard time with the fingerprint sensor (may have been because of my screen protector), but I found ways to overcome the difficulty. The first thing I did was re-register my fingerprint when the screen protector was on, and record several instances of my finger. The sensor, despite being ultrasonic, may take a while to recognize the fingerprint. It may also get some time before you get used to the sensor, as it may take a while the first couple of weeks.Lastly, the display is AMAZING. Having upgraded from a 2 year device, I thought the display would only be a slight improvement. But no, it comes with 60-120hz display and I have seen almost zero lag when watching videos or playing games. (Btw this phone plays high performance games like genshin impact like a boss). This is easily a phone which I would give a 10/10. After getting used to this device, the drawbacks don't really matter or become relevant.

All my life I've always just settled for the cheapest phones or when getting on a new plan I went straight for the free phones only, no further because 99% of thr time I just couldn't afford it or I would refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on something I most likely would've destroyed in less then A month. I was absolutely horrible with phones. So bad that 2022 I went through 2 phones per month (no exaggeration). I want that phone protected from all! (LOL) I'm willing to spend a good amount for something that is absolutely "Me" proof." I finally find the perfect case and off I go with my new phone. Here I am 7mos. later and able to truthfully say, this S23+ is the best phone I've ever purchased and I'm now a Samsung Brand Lifetime fan 100% forever!

After about 6 months of use my opinion of the S23+ is lukewarm. I've owned one device in every odd-numbered series of the Galaxy S from S3 to S23: they have consistently lasted roughly 2 years for me before issues arise that require them to be replaced. The 23+ seems to be degrading faster than any of the others. I do not have confidence that it will be functional until the S25 series is released. As always there are good and bad qualities that stick out. If a fraction of a drop of liquid (any sweat, a single melted snowflake, high humidity, etc) touches the screen it goes haywire or simply ignores any touches until it is wiped completely dry. On a rainy day it's useless. Most other features of the phone have been uniformly mediocre. My previous phone was an S21 Ultra, which was much more impressive, above-and-beyond expectations. I decided to give the 23+ a chance due to size and cost factors.I think the S23 Ultra would have been a much better choice.

I've had a Samsung phone nearly every year since the Note 4 came out back in 2014. While I was enthralled with the infinity display on the Galaxy S8, future versions of the phone didn't really grab me in any way. The S20-S22 line was a solid device but the S23+ feels like a mature, confident product that I'm happy and grateful to have as my daily driver. The setup process moving from another Galaxy was seamless, even automatically logging me into some of my apps. The first thing I did was download Gboard to replace the default and it was off to the races. As far as the phone goes, there's really not much more new stuff to be said. The screen is great, vibrant, responsive (I also enable developer's settings and set all of the animation speeds to 0.5 for an even snappier feel) and now that Samsung and Instagram finally seem to have reached some sort of deal, uploading videos to the platform is just as good as doing it from an iPhone! There's now no need to carry another phone around except for curiosity's sake. While I will likely be trading the phone in once more for the S24+ when it rolls around, I'm more than happy to carry this in my pocket and sell it at the cell phone store that I work at. Easy recommendation.
I purchased the S23+ when it first came out last year. I pre-ordered it and was given and upgrade to 512gb storage space. This is my 5th Galaxy S device, having the S5, S6, S7, and S10 beforehand. It was only natural for me to get the S23 because I like the product and will continue to buy the new models every few years.I use the phone as my everyday personal device. I use it to make calls, text message, browse the internet, take pictures, read emails, watch movies and TV, play games, create calendar events, create reminders, make purchases through various apps, and everything else a smart phone is capable of these days.I think its a great phone with tons of nice features. I like the quick settings pull down menu to show all the various buttons that can be customized to my liking. I like the secure folder to keep certain things more secure. The only two complaints I have is I wish the battery was either bigger / the phone had better battery life. Overnight, when the phone is idle, it still loses about 1% per hour, which seems high to me, but maybe it isn't. From what I have read, it is about average for most smart phones out there in the market. The other is I wish it had a headphone jack. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one.But great phone and I will continue to buy Samuang Galaxy S phones.
This is my 3rd Samsung smartphone and I have always had good experiences with their products. As an upgrade from an old S8, I like the larger screen, since I use the phone instead of a computer for everything from paying bills to browsing. The thing that's keeping me from enjoying any kind of improved performance seems to have a lot to do with my distance from the nearest cell tower. It seems the 5G signal is intermittent, but when it switches to 4G it's good. When it runs 5G, I experience problems with web pages when the browser times out, giving me site cannot be reached messages. Regardless of whatever reason, I am stuck with slower internet speeds than my old S8 half of the time! Once again, I'm sure this is a network issue living in a rural area and not the ... When it runs 5G, I experience problems with web pages when the browser times out, giving me site cannot be reached messages. Regardless of whatever reason, I am stuck with slower internet speeds than my old S8 half of the time! Once again, I'm sure this is a network issue living in a rural area and not the phone's fault. The other thing that's irritating is in the text app. I used to be able to tap icons to the left of each text for mass deletions of junk texts on my old phone. Now I have to open each text in order to delete it. A seemingly minor problem, but going into an election year, it's already wasting time deleting the junk! My last complaint is the accidental touch protection is a little too active when purposely try to touch a spot on the screen if your hand isn't perfectly steady. I will attempt to modify the screen sensitivity to see if it can be improved. Bottom line: if you live in the city, this would be an awesome phone; rural areas may be problematic trying to run 5G data if the cell tower isn't close.
I've really liked this Samsung Galaxy s23 Plus. I switched after years of iPhones but I have had plenty of Android devices in the past also. The number one thing I like I think is the speed. And also that you can change the UI speed in settings. Tied for first place is the light weight and medium size of the s23 Plus. That's the main reason I got it instead of the s23 ultra. I'm okay without the pen that you get on the ultra. I've had plenty of Samsung note phones with a pen in the past and was always having to look for some reason to use the pen.My next device will probably be a z fold, maybe when they have a slot for the pen.The photos and videos have been good but I think the iPhone 13 Pro Max that I was coming from, had better photos and videos. It's not a huge deal but I think I just prefer those photos better. One of my biggest concerns in switching back to Android was trying to get all my notes over from Apple notes which I used a whole lot. But Samsung made it super easy to transfer those notes, including attachments like photos, to Samsung notes.I had tried a screen protector on this phone but it definitely interfered with the fingerprint login. I had to remove it. So I have been using the phone without a screen protector so I'm pretty sure I'm going to scratch up the screen eventually. But without a screen protector, the fingerprint sensor works extremely well.
As a longtime Galaxy user, I can safely say this is the strongest and most complete Galaxy S so far.The phone's exterior has been thoroughly and practically considered, as it's the most comfortable Galaxy model I've owned. The flat panel display is warmly welcomed, as it has eliminated all accidental touches and slipping out of the hand from my daily use.The display's resolution, contrast, vibrancy, responsiveness, and refresh rate are all without fault. The battery life and performance have both been absolutely excellent, with more than enough power and endurance for my needs. The One UI experience is simply the most complete experience that is available.Smart View and DeX have become a mainstay of my phone usage, and I wouldn't be able to replace them anywhere ... It's what's kept me coming back years to come!
