The Combo AI robot vacuum barely cleans the wall edges while vacuuming and mopping as well. Almost 2 inches from the wall almost had all the white stuff I poured to test the edge cleaning. Check the attached videos. A robo vacuum at this price with such performance is surprising to say the least.. However, other regular areas that it does clean up (vacuum or mop), it does a good job. Not just the edges. I really loved it. It was disturbing yet satisfying to see how much dirt and mess was picked up each time, and how strong the mop and vacuum really were. My messy toddlers were no match for this device, the vacuum really collected everything!Overall, it is a good machine, but for one of the most expensive robot vacuums on the market, I did expect better.

This smart robot vacuum has been a miracle upgrade from our older first generation models which have long been struggling with our dog’s double coated hair! It is not only significantly quieter than our previous vacuums, it also moves in a much more elegant fashion — no longer rudely bumping into our furniture, walls, and tables and startling our dog!! In fact the first time we ran the robot, our dog simply watched from the safety of his bed without running after the robot in fear of it knocking over something on our coffee table or pushing his blankets into the corner. These two factors alone, coupled with its effective suction, are already convincing enough for me to recommend this new Samsung JetBot. Amazing how well the vac accurately maps the entire house (single story), always knows where it is and cleans in an organized pattern. We have a "dumb" robo vac in another house. It does a good job but randomly wanders around. The Jet Bot literally sees the room, then proceeds to go back and forth vacuuming as you would. It sees all furniture (and other objects on the floor) and maps to go around them. Rarely bumps into things. When creating the map, first pick everything off the floor, shoes, pets, etc. Otherwise, it will think these are permanent things and map around them. After the map is created if it sees a new random object on the floor (like a pet) it will go around the object. Once the map is built the first time you use the vac, it stores the map. We have some throw rugs which we must pick up or it just pushes them and can get stuck (the side spinning brush gets under the throw rug). As for noise, it sounds typical for a robo vac. When it returns home and empties into the home station, that vacuum is loud and sounds powerful. The app on the phone is pretty good. You can start it when you are not home and track its progress on your phone. If it does run into a problem (gets stuck on a throw rug) it will ask for help, but if no one responds it will shut down until it is rescued. Our house is 2,000 sq ft and it has just enough power to clean the entire house on a single charge. But if it does sense it is running low on battery it goes home, then finishes where it left off after charging.

It does have a resume function, so if it does run out of juice it will just pick up where it left off. The mopping on this guy works super well, the spinning pads are a huge improvement from the traditional mop vacs that just drag a wet cloth behind it.- Mapping: The map function is very detailed, it creates a 2D and 3D model of your house, with little models of your furniture and objects. While it's cleaning, it will also alert you on the map where it ran into objects that it had to go around or avoid.Overall I would recommend this robot hands down. If you're looking for an all-in-one solution to clean floors with the minimal amount of work on your end, this is your guy.

Simply remove the various tape, plug in the Clean Unit, add the mop head cleaning and ramp and add water to the clean water container. This bot talks-a lot. I will probably try to disable a few of the announcements in the future. Linking the robot to my existing SmartThings app was simple. Just be aware that if you have a small apartment, this may not be the unit for you.So far it has done a good job of mapping out the living room and it did pretty well with vacuuming in its first pass. I don’t think the mop function was set for this pass but the vacuum picked both large and small particles and handled my hardwood and area rugs easily. I also like the large bins which mean that the robot won’t require human interventions to add water or empty dust bins like my previous models. This means this unit can clean my whole main floor overnight. Previous models required more water and often a bin empty before the entire thing was complete. I’ll be updating my review as I put it through its paces, but so far I like the style and performance.

I received an error stating that the clean water tank was removed even though it wasnt. The robot won't mop anymore bc it thinks the tank is missing which is pretty infuriating bc the mop function was the main reason I bought the device. Ive tried all the usual resetting, app deleting, rebooting, etc. to no avail. When I reached out to Samsung, best I got was "submit a warranty/service ticket." So now I have to go through all that mess and annoyance, on top of having to pack up the device, send it back, and be without a robot for who knows how long. I know it's a first world problem, but when you pay almost $2k for a robot vacuum, you expect it to perform its basic functions. With a newborn and full house, we really rely on our robots to help us out and keep our floors clean.If Samsung addresses the issue I'll update my review, but until then, I can't really recommend the product as it sits right now. It's unfortunate bc when the device worked, it worked really well, minus the area rug issue. Hopefully they can figure out their bs and get this puppy working like it should.

It made an attempt to divide areas up into rooms, and was generally ready to vacuum immediately after the initial mapping.From there I noticed the next big change - rather than relying solely on bumper switches or a 2-dimensional view of the world, it seemed to be doing some recognition of what is in front of fit. It would seldomly go until it hit a wall, and would avoid new obstacles (and flag them in the app).Perhaps the feature I am most excited about - it can both vacuum and mop. I previously had a vacuum with a mopping feature, but I didn't use it as it required attachments, and prevented really being able to set-and-forget a schedule for cleaning. This vacuum uses clean and dirty water tanks to be able to mop on a schedule, unattended. Perhaps even more impressive is that it can vacuum and mop at the same time - it will detect that it is off of the hard floor and raise the mop heads to avoid getting a rug wet, and appears that it would avoid running over higher-pile carpets and rugs altogether while mopping (although I do not have any rugs that are high enough that they should trigger such a feature)It is unfortunate that it uses dust bags for dirt collection in vacuuming mode, although I do understand how this can do a better job of capturing and storing the dust. I'm impressed, however, that the mopping feature uses plain water without any additional cleaner.I have had a few issues - it seems to get caught up on rugs more often than my prior robots, and I had an issue getting it to go between vacuum and mop programs - the base station should remove and install the mopping heads depending on mode, but I eventually had to flip the robot over and install the heads manually to get it to work.Altogether though, I am both enjoying the features of this vacuum, and expect the mopping feature to keep my floors beautiful.
Received my vacuum in the mail and it was bigger than I excepted, so if you have issues moving around a bigger boxes enlist some help. I opened the nox and took all the items out and started putting the vacuum together. It was pretty self explanatory and didn’t even have to reference the instructions, after I got it all put together I put the vacuum on the base station to charge. As the vacuum was charging I filled the clean water bin up and proceeded to add the vacuum into my Smartthings application, this was easy for me already being a smartthing housewhole, it might be a little learning curve for a new user but its pretty easy to figure out. My previous vacuum that was suppose to be able to avoid things like this is no longer with us! It did a great job of avoiding the object I placed on the floor along with my old blind and deaf dog. No animals were hurt during the making of this revew! The vacuum was very speedy at vacuuming the floors and did a very good job at it and I’m really like not having to deal with emptying the dirt from the vacuum as it returned to the base stations and emptied the dirt. Next test was the mopping feature which really surprised me as the previous vacuum was suppose to mop also but was less than desirable results, but this new one did a fantastic job like 10x better than my partner which does zero mopping I really appreciate not having to put much effort into the mopping feature as it empties the dirty water into the dirty water clean and if it need more get it from the the clean water bin. Overall I have been extremely pleased with my new floor cleaning army of one!
I am always so busy as a mom of a little boy, a wife, working full time and I am a clean freak. I just love how much the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI has made my cleaning life so much easier! I love waking up to freshly vacuumed and moped floors each morning. My cleaning routine used to be for me to vacuum every other day. Just add fresh water every couple of days, and empty our the old dirty water. It automatically empties into the the dustbin inside the All in One Clean station and from time to time you empty out that part. It washes the mop pads with hot water and steam and refills itself with water when needed. My old mop is jealous.It is a pro at knowing when it goes over a rug to keep vacuuming but stop the mop heads from touching the floor so it does not get wet. The suction is powerful enough to pick up all the crumbs, dirt, and pet hair my boy leaves behind. It is so nice to wake up to a clean floor It is also not very noisy so I have mine programmed to run each night after we go to bed. I simply set the routine program easily in the Smart Things app on my phone and choose how and when it should turn on automatically. I don't have to worry about a thing!I can easily turn it off and send it back to its station if I need to as well. I can also see the map of the rooms where it has been vacuumed and where it still has to go. No more guessing if the robot vacuumed in a spot or room or not. I no longer use a pinball vacuum like my old one and do not know where it goes after bouncing off something.I highly, highly highly say you need to get it. Especially if you love a good clean floor and hate mopping like me. Get it, it is a game changer and I just love it.
