I got this USB-C flash drive for my M1 MacBook Pro, as I was tired of having to use an adapter every time I needed to use my old flash-drives. As my first type-C flash drive, I couldn't be happier. The performance is what you would expect from a Gen 1, USB 3.2 (a little above par compared with USB 3, to be honest), but I wasn't getting this for any super-computing speed tests, so that was fine with me. All I can say is that whoever took the product photos for this little flash drive MUST'VE used a macro lens, because this thing is SUPER tiny! It barely sticks out an inch from the side of my MacBook when it's connected, and that's fine with me - I'm just glad I have a dedicated gadget-bag for my cables and flash drives or else I'd be constantly worried about losing ... I bought this drive to expand the storage on my off-air dvr. I never expected it to improve my dvr's ability to access the video data, but it did. There is no delay in accessing data, what I want to see shows up immediately on screen. This drive is awesome fast and re-write, formatting and accessing newly stored data is great and it's compact enough that it does not stick-out, crowding my other components. Kudos Samsung.

I can't believe I waited so long to buy this USB-C flash drive by Samsung!. My Samsung S23 Ultra has been overloaded with photos and videos, plus documents, and I needed to make more room. Then, this flash drive came into my life! It held every single transfer from my phone and I STILL have tons of room left on it. It transferred everything seamlessly and made my life so much easier.

I purchased this in July and placed it on my Keychain about a month later, being that is is advertised as waterproof and portable that seemed like an intended use. I noticed the cap would come off on my pocket fairly often but hadn't been an issue. What has become an issue is the back plate of the drive came undone and the entire drive came out of the enclosure and thus becoming lost. If you are planning on using this as a portable drive I would recommend super gluing the back plate ahead of time else risk losing the entire drive, along with its contents.
EXCELLENT! It does what it says it does. The 400mb says "up to" because few systems will support those speeds. This is the fastest USB drive I've experienced. If you want faster, go to a SDXC UHS-I Card like sandisk extreme.
I bought this Flash Drive to add memory to my original Samsung TV and so far it has worked beautifully. I was able to download some more programs to my new streaming possibilities and it is really great.
Bought this to keep on my key ring so I will always have access to important files whether on my phone or PC. It is the perfect size and weight for this, adding great functionality with basically no bulk. It looks great, works well, and is durable. Very happy with my purchase!
when it says you will get 300 mb/s transfer speeds i'm just letting you know right now that you won't even come close to that.the thumb drive does hit 300 mb/s read speed but that means nothing when it comes to transfers. best i got out of 3 tests on a usb 3.1 usb c connection directly into my motherboard was 36.62 mb/s write speeds. pretty badi bought this just because i needed something cheap to use the rest of my promo money but if you want performance look elsewhere.also if you plan on using this with a phone that has a case on it i would look elsewhere as well. i have a slim spigen case on my s20 ultra and the wide base of the thumb drive hits the case which isn't a narrow cutout.
tried transferring a 2gb movie file to and from my s22 ultra and speeds were 40 mb/s. took just over a minute. on pc speeds were much faster. for comparison, transferred same file to t7 portable ssd from my s22 ultra and it took about 5 sec. @ 390 mb/s. i tried this with 2 different thumb drives i bought from amazon and newegg.
It worked great on two of my computers, but failed on two others with USB-C ports - I do not know why and did not care to trouble-shoot it yet (the failed USB-C ports are back from 2017 or so if that matters). I need to purchase an adapter to convert it to a USB-A and see how it does on computers with older USB ports. But I love how speedy it is!
