I purchased the Samsung 512GB Pro Ultra as an add on to my Budi (upgrade) portable storage drive. I connected it to my Windows 10 Pro PC to test and it was detected. I copied a 434 MB video file in just a quick couple of seconds. For a 15.5 GB file, it took about 6 minutes with an average write speed of 36 MB/s. I compared it with an 512 GB, SD Extreme card. I copied a 72 GB video file. Both max write speeds were about 37 MB/s. Copy time was around 30 minutes. This card is good, it's write speed for large files are about the same the leading brand with similar features.

This product fails miserably to deliver expected high speed transfers. Samsung claims file transfer speeds are UP TO 130 Mb/s. Technically, this is true, but only because any number between 0 and 130 can be considered UP TO 130. The reality from my experience is a high of 23 Mb/s, an alarming 107 Mb/s slower than the potential highest speed. Yes, I know many factors have to be considerd - internet connection, computer, etc. While my setup is far from superlative, it is certainly capable of file transfer speeds of up to 130 Mb/s. I use a Lenovo IdeaPad 3. Connection is Xfinity Broadband with speeds up to 300 Mb/s. My computer and one mobile phone are the only devices connected to the network. One star out of five is a generous rating - 20 percent of a perfect five ... MoreThis product fails miserably to deliver expected high speed transfers. The product itself delivers less than 18 percent of its alleged potential (17.69 percent of its alleged top speed). I am impressed by the enormous storage capacity (477 GB) but that is overshadowed by its dismal speed performance. Overall, performance was most important to me with this product, far outweighing features and design, resulting in a deserved one star rating. I will credit Samsung for its phrasing of "UP TO" involving transfer speed. It is not a lie, it's just unlikely to happen. In the same context, everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

Bought 2 x 512Gb EVO Select cards for my recently purchased Galaxy A15 cell phone and Galaxy S6 Lite tablet. Neither cards were recognized in either device so couldn't reformat or anything! Tried numerous options, forced restart etc, nothing worked. Ended up having to reformat the cards in my Tapo security cameras (LOL) before they were recognized by the Samsung devices... When I inserted one of my 256Gb EVO Select cards into both devices to test (phone and tab) they were instantly recognized. Would suggest a format issue from Samsung.

After years of working with Raspberry Pi devices (3, 4, and 5), I discovered this Samsung 128GB PRO Ultimate SD card is the best performance over all of the other SD cards I tried. Samsung did something right with this product! I bought 3 from BH Photo and they were on my doorstep the next day and pricing is comparable to Amazon. Before Amazon was not sold out, their delivery was over a week. Makes me think I will check BH Photo First!
When I picked up a ZV-E10, one of the first things I noticed is that none of the video cards would allow me to record at the full potential of the camera. The Samsung Pro Ultimate let's me unlock that potential. It captures high speed burst of photos without stuttering. Video recording is smooth at the highest setting. With the 512 GB size at a reasonable price, I can keep swapping out batteries all day and not worry about space. Transfer speeds to my PC are fantastic and keep my workflow moving. I have not had a Samsung microSDXC Card fail since I started using them with my action cameras a few years ago. They are fast and reliable. I'll keep buying them as long as they make them.
Putting this card through the paces, I knew that this would be a challenge for any micro SD card. That's because this card would be used in my car camera, that is subject to heating while in use. But more importantly, the camera chassis is black in color and soaks up the sun! This causes the camera to get so hot you can barely touch it. But the card continues to work like a champion, even during the winter months exposed to sometimes three nights in deep frigid -20 Fahrenheit temperaturee. And you just can't keep a good card down. Once the card is full, it is overwritten, and then written over again and again. I'm so impressed that this little scrappy card handles it all without any troubles. Thanks Samsung!!
If you are looking for a fast, and easy to use memory card I highly recommend this one. I usually go the cheap route and just buy the largest storage for the cheapest price. The Samsung Pro Ultimate memory card has changed my mind based off of the performance alone. Samsung is a great brand in my opinion and they didn't let me down with this memory card. I use a lot of space for art music and work related documents. This chip out performed my other memory card without a doubt. The transfer speed was great when going between my phone and laptop using the USB memory card adapter. I could not find a single issue with the Samsung Pro Ultimate memory card at all. I definitely recommend this to everyone!
So far this has worked flawlessly! It's fast, a good value came with an adapter.I tried to research between this model and the Samsung Endurance Pro and am still a bit confused. But appear to offer reliability and speed (this being quite a bit faster than the Endurance), and perhaps the endurance being more marketed for longevity in video recording.I actually bought both. I've been using the Endurance for months without failure and have only been using this one for a week. So far my 1080p, 1440p and 4k security cameras have operated smoothly with both.If speed is a concern, go with this. If longevity and reliability is your priority than I'd suggest going with the Endurance Pro.
i bought a couple of those $8 Sandisk plastic usb-a 64G things. Man they are cheap. The plastic wears out and will break off inside the port and you have to use special hardware for extraction. The Sandisk heat up in seconds and write speed hits about 150K/secCould be the substrate quality. I see reviews on their micro sd cards indicating stellar performance and durability.Samsung seems to be good on their PR front. Maybe they have process control issues. Who knows. I hope they get their **** together. Maybe us consumers have it 'easy' :PAnyway, the innovative adapter which seems like a no-brainer kinda why i got it. Performance is there, i saw sustained write speeds in slight excess of my USB A 3.0 external hard drives. That '500GB' can be stuffed in a tiny ... Morei bought a couple of those $8 Sandisk plastic usb-a 64G things.
