That second 'repair' still did not correct the problem - the TV continues to turn off and not work appropriately. Today, just over 4 months from the day of purchase, was yet another tech visit. The samsung tech called samsung, and Samsung support stated that there was a known issue with an "App communication issue". The Samsung tech said that they had now seen it in another new TV. So I asked the tech what Samsung was going to do, give me a new TV as a replacement as clearly this TV, or the software within the TV is not working as advertised and does not appear repairable? And he said no, they aren't recommending to do anything. And so he made no attempt to repair my non-functioning TV.How a customer could spend any amount on a TV with a stated 'warranty' (let alone an $8k TV) without a brand being willing to stand behind that 100% after attempting 3 repairs is completely lost on me. As a household of nothing but Samsung TVs at present, I can assure you that won't be the case in the future.Dont make the mistake we did. Buy something other than this TV. And take a chance on a brand other than Samsung.For BestBuy, I will be more than happy to provide my order number to substantiate my purchase. I also have the myriad of reference numbers for Samsung to validate the statements above.
I brought this about three weeks ago and it is a beautiful TV. It's such a smart TV. It's smarter than me.🤣 I am still learning but what a difference from my old TV to this TV I would recommend this to anybody. The screen is fantastic for a 55 inch TV and good colour sound is fantastic. I have the tiniest little remote control. It is so cool and yes, I'm still learning but I'm glad I'd listen to the sales guy about this TV. It's money well worth spent. Color representation appears very good, and I’m not noticing any stand out blooming effects that catch my eye. Gaming on the TV seems to perform very well, I have been using an Xbox 360 and the upscaling for it is good as well as the refresh rate on the screen. Where I would like features or aspects of this TV to be better considering it’s price range; the movie-mode setting (which is supposed to be the most realistic ) is something to be desired and very offputting. A considerable amount of adjusting needs to be done to fine-tune the image to how you would like it. I’m not an expert at this and have not been able to achieve this. Samsung customer service is at a very low level, my experience with the Florida office is here.It's a shame that the Samsung product is very good, but customer service is at its lowest level.I have a Samsung 8K tv QN75Q900TSFXZA, which i bought in 2020, somehow this tv stopped working yesterday, we tried to find part that went bad (part # BN94-15495G). We couldn't find the part, we called Samsung tech support and they told us that this part is no longer available and will not be available anymore. Also there is not any replacement part available. This means that the tv that we have bought for $5000 can not be fixed and we have to throw it in garbage.This tv is not old, its an 8K tv which is still a new technology, my question is how come the parts that goes with this tv is not available anymore? I did the same thing. I didn’t get that tv for free, I paid and it was a brand new tv, not used or renewed one. Question here is not that I bought the tv from a unauthorized dealer, question is that when this tv broke, Samsung couldn’t provide the parts required to fix as they discontinued the main board for this model and this is not an old model, it’s an 8K technology which is not even in effect completely.I believe Samsung should stand behind its product, and support its customers.I am still looking for help from everywhere I could get, at all social platforms by opening a discussion, I am also including Samsung Korea, Samsung India and other European territories.I hope this message gets to a responsible person who takes the ownership of this great brand, cause I believe the Samsung brand itself is a great brand, difference probably are the people who could do better to serve itRegards,
