I should've done my research apparently to find out that essentially a third of people buying this product get something that straight up does not work. I bought this project from Samsung's seller on Amazon and it arrived today. Turn on the power button and it displays a startup sound, NO LIGHT, and then turns itself off. I don't want to run around through customer support/shipping/repairing as I have seen others have in these reviews. I have better things to do with my time and with my life. I want to return this product and to get a refund so I can get a different projector that actually works, nothing more. I have already submitted a request on Amazon as well.

This projector is absolutely incredible! I already have Samsung TVs, so I was familiar with the interface, which was a big plus. I can simply turn it on, and it functions just like my other devices, seamlessly integrating with Amazon, Spectrum, movies, and other apps.Setting it up was a breeze, especially for someone like me who isn’t great at setting up media equipment. My screen is 120 inches, and the projector image fit perfectly, with only minor adjustments needed for the legs. One of the best parts was how easy it was—basically, all I had to do was plug it in. The picture quality is crystal clear, far superior to my old projector.

This projector is amazing. Very sharp and crisp display. I project it directly on a wall and the quality of display rivals an OLED TV. Screen size is massive and you do not lose any sharpness even when increased to 150 inches even though Samsung markets for a 130 inch or lower display. Colors are stunning. In built speakers and menu are decent quality.Adjustment on the projector is challenging as it can only be adjusted by 2 front feet (a gyroscope adjustment would have been ideal with in built 2D leveling mechanism). In this day and age and being a high end projector, auto adjustment and focus would have been ideal. Also recommend getting a separate atmos sound system such as sonos or bose arc, subwoofer and surrounds. I used sonos and elevated the sound quality ... MoreThis projector is amazing. In general, I had expected more of this quite expensive product. There is a lot to be said about its good features elsewhere but I want to list here the things that stop me from giving this product 5 stars:- when watching 4k video, any fast eye movement can trigger DLP Rainbow Effect. I definitely did not expect that from a laser system- when playing streams from a harddrive, the system regularly tells me that certain codecs are not supported, most annoying one is DTSHD audio support missing.- the provided internet browser is not able to stream web videos - playing something from an alternative source like odysee is not supported.- the close distance projection requires a seriously flat projection surface. In this price category I'd have expected something able to adjust itself automatically or with a remote that does not require me to lie on the floor.- Samsungs "smart" OS is very limiting on the applications you can run on it. I feel tempted to root this thing and install a plain Linux on it to make it fit my needs.

My main issues are that The Projector will crash and freeze once the cache builds up too much, but the worst issue I have is every month it seems there is a new pixel that has gone out. At first it started with only one pixel going out after having the projector for less than a year and now my screen has at least 7 different white dots that you can't ignore because it looks like a starry night. The life of the projector does not seem to last long. I bought this projector 2.5 years ago. Seemed to work great until white dots started to appear on the screen. Had to send the product in for repair, which was still covered under warranty, but was without TV for almost 3 weeks. Then, exactly one year later the same issue started happening again. This time the product is no longer under warranty and repair will not be covered even though it is the same issue. Poor product, poor customer service.

Laser TV is the term that's being used around nowadays for USTs that are bright enough to be used during the day – and Samsung's The Premiere 9 fulfills this role exceedingly well.Something else that blew my socks off, was The Premiere 9's gaming performance. Games are demanding, being so dynamic and I was simply not expecting it to be this bright and sharp! I tested an Xbox Series X & PS5 connected to it, and fired up a few games and wow is the best exclamation I can use to describe it. Colors in games are typically exaggerated VS films and boy, they really let the projector stretch its legs. You can also really see the benefit of the .66" DMD chip over the smaller, less resolution .47" chip in gaming, as the 4K output on the Series X and PS5 look breathtakingly crisp and clean. Even non-4K content got upscaled using an AI chip and it looks so sharp and clean. Having a full Game Mode suite of features like ALLM, HGiG, Ultrawide View, and 60fps, the projector has smooth & flawlessly fluid motion and displays games at their max fidelity. Meanwhile the OS of the system has literally every app and didn't lag at all.The built-in 2.2.2 speakers provide a very capable audio output if you don't have a dedicated sound bar or surround system that you can use with the eARC. Clear, loud and detailed audio is always welcome, especially in a pinch - it's only 25 lbs and portable - take it to a friend's house!All in all I'm beyond impressed and blown away by this ultra short throw projector and would recommend it as paramount to anyone looking for that huge home theatre wow factor!
